It’s Canadian Infertility Awareness week, so let’s just start off with some simple facts ☝️These numbers reflect just how prevalent infertility struggles are in Canada.
Some things to consider if you’re thinking, preparing or actively trying to conceive:

👉See your Dr. If you’re over 35 and you’ve been actively trying for 6 months

👉See your Dr. If you’re under 35 and you’ve been actively trying for 1 year

👉If you’re having painful periods

👉If you’re having irregular or no periods

👉If you’ve been previously diagnosed with a reproductive issue such as endometriosis, PCOS or fibroids

👉If you’re experience pain during s*x

👉If you have a history of. STIs

👉If early menopause runs in your family

👉If you’ve had injury or surgery to your testicles or sc***um

👉If you have erectile or ejaculatory dysfunction

What to do if you think someone you know is struggling with infertility:
👉Absolutely nothing! Don’t even bring it up unless they initiate that conversation

We understand that life can take some unexpected twists and turns. Financial pressures, insurance coverage or scheduling disruptions can often impact our ability to continue with the regular acupuncture needed to obtain the results we want for your fertility and pregnancy journey.

We are happy to announce our Student clinic is now extending availability to Sunday mornings AND Wednesday evenings, for more accessible and affordable regular acupuncture! 👏

Our student Practitioner is licensed under a Student Class License with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Our practitioners are either currently enrolled in a full time post secondary TCMP program or have completed their formal training and are waiting to complete their licensing examinations and would like to gain more experience and knowledge in the field of Fertility and Reproductive focused Acupuncture.

Our in house student practitioners are supervised and mentored by our most senior Registered acupuncturists.
