I started getting into juicing in September, and I really enjoy making fresh juice.

I like to use more vegetables than fruits because I don't eat enough vegetables.

Juicing is beneficial to increase vitamins and minerals in your diet, increase energy, decrease inflammation and enhance absorption of nutrients! ❤️💪🏾

Just keep in mind, juicing too often can be expensive, so I usually do it twice a week as a beginner. 😊

I have come a long way. I have to thank God for bringing me to this place of happiness and gratitude.

I finished school this year after a long and stressful journey; I travelled during the summer, moved back to Toronto, got a job and now continuing my health journey with a clear mind.

I have struggled to lose weight for the past five years, with overeating, binge eating, self-sabotaging my goals and not being consistent.

When your mind is not clear, stressed, overwhelmed, grieving and is struggling mentally, it's so much harder to be consistent to live a healthier life.

The best thing to do is not put pressure on yourself and deal with your mental health first because it will save you time in the long run. 😊

I feel like I have a sound mind to be more consistent, follow through with my health plans and achieve my goals.

I learned how to be happier, wiser, healthier and I am excited to see the future me!! ❤️❤️❤️

Spinning and biking have given me a sense of fitness freedom because I could build strength in my body.

I had two knees surgeries in 2015 and 2017, and it took me a few years to build strength in my lower body to exercise without limitations. 🙏

2 years ago, I could never workout without a brace, and now I don’t need one! 💪🏾

Nobody is perfect, and we all have to start somewhere.
It takes a lot of trial and error, ups and downs and determination to build new habits and live a healthier lifestyle.

I struggle with my battles when it comes to eating better, but I keep pushing every day in the right direction. I know my journey will be slow as a snail, and that’s okay because one day, there will be a celebration.

I have focused on approaching my health journey with a more positive perspective, and I am more mindful of my small actions.

I started to change my way of thinking over the summer. 💭

During the past, I always kept saying to myself; I’ll start again on this date, and I’ll start to do better on that date. I was always trying to reach perfection.

Then when I look back, the month is done, and I didn’t achieve anything.

I realized if I step back and focus on how I can improve today, I won’t get overwhelmed with the big goals. 🥺

I haven’t given up on myself; I am just changing how I think to achieve long-term goals. 💕
