Raw and Ready Nutrition- Ma'ayan Jasovich

Raw and Ready Nutrition- Ma'ayan Jasovich Gut-brain nutritionist, helping you heal naturally from within using nutrition, functional testing, and a mind-body approach to healing. Available online.

Raw and Ready:

Our only home on this planet is our body. We carry it everywhere we go. In order for it to thrive, move and carry us around it needs to be nourished and cared for. My mission is to empower you in the process of connecting to what your body needs. Nourishing it is not about eating plain, flavourless “boring” food. It is about enjoying every bite and knowing that your body is getting everything it needs. It is about supporting it in your daily life, your movement practices, and especially supporting it during times of sickness. Raw and Ready is a state of mind. It is knowing the wisdom of our body and recognizing that we always expand, grow and revolutionize ourselves from within. That means getting down and dirty, putting in the work, but also lovin’ every moment of it. No BS, no rounding corners, while respecting and trusting the process. About Ma'ayan:

A gut-health, gut-brain, and sports clinical nutritionist specializing in digestive issues, stress-related symptoms, brain support, and performance. I combine clinical nutrition, functional lab testing, and mind–body modalities to uncover root causes and support long-term healing from indigestion, IBS, bloating, food sensitivities, concussions, and female hormonal imbalances. My approach is personalized, science-based, and guided by traditional wisdom.

Ever felt stuck in the healing journey?

I have, and some of my clients as well.

What we need to do in those moment is be a strong inner parent and stick to our path. It’s true that we also need to be on the right path to begin with. But if you know you are (and there will be signs), stick to it.

This is where I love bringing mineral work. Once we laid a foundation, recognized the “big holes”, structured our path- we get to go into the nuance. Minerals are like the decorations and painting we put in our home- they seem small but without them it’s just a structure, not a home.

They are the spark plugs of the body and we really can’t be in the world without proper mineral balance.

And if you are wondering, we are looking at tissue minerals, not bloodwork.

If this resonates and you are called to do more nuanced work simply DM me or book a connection call 💜

Parasites is a BIG world. When I started diving in I saw some of the most disturbing thing in peoples behavior towards themselves:

Obsession.

People who get frequent parasites tend to get obsessed about it, and develop a “purity” complex. They start eliminating all sorts of foods, doing many cleanses, and take a lot of supplements because there is a belief that we can avoid parasites.

The truth is: we can’t. The second truth is: we aren’t meant to.

Our body is a sophisticated creation that has built-in protection. HCl acid, gut lining, immunity cells, commensal bacteria, you name it! Our body KNOWS how to eliminate invaders.

When we become so obsessed it is actually a symptom of its own: lack of boundaries, over-thinking, pathologizing.

This is why I offer functional testing in my clinic, because the reality is that a lot of the people I see “do the right things”. They just don’t do the right thing for their unique situation in the right time. It’s not just about getting your fiber and taking some herbs.

You need to know WHY it is happening, and reorganize your inner terrain to function well for the goal at hand.

Do you need support? I’m a DM away.

There is so much support these days for Trauma healing which is fantastic, and as a nutritionist I view our food consumption as one of the most foundational pieces to move through our trauma.

The complexity of shifting a traumatized body can feel overwhelming at times, because the energy that needs to shift consumes a lot of the system.

Building a strong container relies on consistent messaging of safety. Which is why connecting with your food and nourishing yourself can send signals, both physiologically and mentally-emotionally- that things are ok. You are teaching your body that YOU are there for it, and you are nourishing it.

Food, at its most foundational essence, is our introduction with life. It’s what we receive when we come into to the world, the first nourishment a mother provides. Our system recognizes that food- is aliveness.

We aren’t here to merely survive. But to live fully.

And I wholeheartedly believe that anyone can heal from trauma, regardless of how hard it feels to move through it.

In my practice I use different tests to see how your body utilized energy, and if you aren’t assimilating the nutrients well from your food- a mechanism that keeps us stuck in a loop of survival. So if you have tried things and you feel it hasn’t worked, or you are ready to nourish deeply, this work is here for you.

If you need support, reach out. I’d be happy to be by your side.

If you want to save time, agony, and 💰 , get off the trial and error train. I’ve been there too 🫣. And it’s really not serving you.

If you have chronic gut issues it can be complicated to untangle it. A bit like a ball of wool your cat played with. But if we have the right tools, it can be so much faster to move through, and bring back to balance.

I don’t think this test is for everyone, and for every case, but if you tried many things, and it’s been at least 3 month or more of you suffering from gut issues, it’s probably going to be a very useful tool.

You might wonder why your doctor isn’t offering this….and it’s because medicine has other tools. So, it’s important for me to share that there are more ways that are not as common in the doctor’s office, but they are science based and have in-clinic results.

If you are curious about it feel free to reach out.

You don’t need another year of guessing, ChatGPTing, or hoping your gut will “figure itself out.” And no, just letting it be isn’t a solution.

I know you probably tried many things.
I know you might feel exhausted, and hopeless.
And I know that trying something new feels like a risk- because….what if it won’t work again?

Your body isn’t the problem. You just haven’t been shown the right path for YOU.

Healing your gut doesn’t have to be complicated, overwhelming, or endless.
There is an easier way👉 one that’s based on understanding what your body is actually trying to tell you… not fighting against it.

If you are ready to focus on your healing DM or book a free call with me through the link in my bio.

It’s frustrating when you try so many things and can’t seem to get better. Many times we circle around our own tail when the solution is so much simpler, but we don’t know the real issue so we keep throwing spaghetti at the wall.

For ongoing gut issue I love using the GI-MAP. It’s a highly sensitive stool test that looks at many different components that make up your gut health.

The goal isn’t to say: “you have a parasite, let’s put you on antimicrobials”, but rather use it to inform us in conjunction with your whole health and life to the WHY your gut and health aren’t well and what steps will take you to where you want to be.

It’s not the test alone that gives us the answer, but it’s a clinically strong piece of the puzzle.

If you are ready to go deep into your gut healing book a free consult through the bio. I’d be happy to help 💜.

It’s easy to think that food is the problem
but in reality, most foods are just innocent pass-byers
(except for clear allergies, of course).

For most people with IBS and common gut issues,
food isn’t the real issue.

The deeper problem is the interaction between the nervous system, the immune system, and the patterns of digestive function.

I know, that’s a mouthful 🤭.

This is why people go for YEARS dealing with indigestion, constipation, diarrhea…and many times both.
Because confusing messaging online makes us believe that if we just take ginger or Tums, everything will magically get better.

But real dysfunction is rarely caused by one thing.
So the solution won’t be one thing either.

If you want me to break down how this gut–brain–immune interaction actually works, in simple human language👉let me know and I’ll create a post on it.
Or let me know your thoughts below 👇

So many people I know walk with symptoms for years.

“It is what it is”
“I’ve tried it all”
“I have X condition/disease, there is no way to cure it”
“It’s my genetics”

The list of limiting beliefs can be very long.

And I’m here to make you question ALL of them.

I grew up in a really unhealthy family, with what average medicine would call “poor genetics”. And here I am, after having cured naturally from IBS, acne, depression, anxiety, and lots of athletic injuries 🫣.

I feel strong, healthy, and overall steady in my well-being.

And I would love to cut your journey so much shorter. You don’t need to spend years like I did, though I’m also not going to promise you an overnight healing.

Healing is non-linear, and requires patience, understanding and care. It’s a labour of self-love and self-care.

So if you need a guide on the path, I’m here. You can go to the bio or DM for info.
