Yo-yo dieting is not lack of willpower, it is the sign that the method doesn’t work for you.
Especially for women going through perimenopause, constant restriction can affect hormones, metabolism, emotional wellness, and keep the weight coming back

✅Your body is asking for a different approach. Also, your mindset has to be supported and guided because sometimes it’s not a physical part, but it is the emotional part that bring us to yo-yo dieting

There is a smarter, gentle way to lose weight after 40 and in my opinion, “True Vitality” is the answer

🎈What can you do to support your metabolism?
There are many factors in your control that can affect your metabolism in a positive way

🎈Exercise regularly: with this you will get more oxygen and nutrients to the cells, which are gonna support metabolism, so keep moving and increase blood flow
🎈Drink Water: you need to stay hydrated and don’t wait until you are thirsty
🎈Stress: with stressful situations you will increase cortisol production, which is good if you need to handle a short term crisis. But when there is chronic stress, cortisol high levels can be huge problem.
🎈Sleep: it is obvious, but as a reminder, irregular sleep, can make your metabolism sluggish, and can affect your motivation to exercise and eat right
🎈Don’t starve yourself
🎈Eat quality, proteins, carbohydrates, fats with the right vitamins and minerals to support your hormones and keep you strong

Your metabolism is complex but your life doesn’t have to be.
Small changes done regularly can increase your metabolic flexibility keep you healthy.
Don’t give up

⭐️PCOS or polycystic ovarian syndrome affects up to 14% of women of reproductive age and it is a common endocrine condition today.

When you fast or eat in a time-restricted way, you will support lower insulin levels, as long as you do it with a very good nutrient rich foods. High insulin usually drive excess androgen production, which is one of the symptoms of PCOS…

Also, fasting can reduce markers of chronic inflammation like CRP and also will support healthy weight management and reduce body fat.

You don’t need to kill yourself with a very long fast, start gentle with a 12 hours fasting from dinner to breakfast and later go higher to 14 or 16 hours fast from dinner to breakfast….that usually is quite enough.
For the nutrients you need to eat focus on low glycemic load foods 🥗and if you have no idea which ones are best for you we can always do a blow test and get the proper meal plan based on your symptoms

During the month of January as the new year starts, why don’t you choose Clarity over Noise?

Avoid looking for better health and a strong body from the pressure of others. Do it from being quiet and thinking about how you want to feel ❤️
Everyone is deciding to change quickly from the over eating, the rushing all over the place and the letting the body go during the holidays 🎄

Choose to feel better and do better from clarity, from what supports you, from science and from your body being unique.

You are not delaying your transformation, you are choosing from the clarity of how badly you want to feel at your best ⭐️

To get to your desired weight and reduce inflammation. It is important that you know these three things:
🎈The right nutrients that your body needs right now based on your blood markers
🎈Support digestion by chewing your food properly, having active enzymes and a healthier microbiome
🎈Insulin resistance is predominant in women during perimenopause because of the changes in s*x hormones. Balancing insulin will reduce inflammation no doubt

Posterior chain…

Short box and the Pilates Tower give us the props to connect with hamstrings, glutes, erector spinae, back of arms.
Often forgotten, the posterior chain keeps us up and vertical

Give those muscle some love regularly ❤️
