BREATH OF JOY FOR THE NEW YEAR 😃💖
For January, our breathwork focus will be "Breath of Joy", lovely to awaken to this new year of fresh starts:
"Through strong inhalations and synchronized arm movements, the practice awakens your whole system—increasing oxygen levels in the bloodstream, temporarily stimulating the sympathetic nervous system, circulating more prana, and gently stoking agni. A big THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of my yoga community this year!
We travelled through the seven major chakras, spending a month deepening into each one. October was infused with inspiration from my Sivananda Retreat with a focus on Kumbhaka (breath retention), Nadi Shodhana and Kapalbhati Pranayama. Then we closed out the year with a focus on pelvic floor.
I loved the time, the connection and the sharing with you all.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated. It nourishes and inspires me for the new year.

Celebration of Gratitude Party
Celebrating Gratitude for over 10 years of teaching yoga plus so many other things. We started with a yoga class, then mixed & mingled - Sharing great food, old and new connections, and real in-person interactions! 💖
It was great fun for the Zoom Yogis to meet each other in person:
“Who is it that has the fireplace?”
“Oh, you have the staircase behind your yoga mat!”
“You’re a bit taller/shorter than on camera” 😅

An interesting take on our past. I have recently embraced a saying:
“You don’t have to drag your past into your future”
And you don’t, but like many things, it is not B&W. Our past has many layers, and this article nicely unpacks some of those.

You don’t get free of your past by rejecting it, but by remembering it, at just the right time.
