The European black bee is a subspecies of the honey bee. It is native to Western Europe and the northern part of Eastern Europe. The European black bee is a nominative subspecies of the honey bee species, and is one of the four major breeding species in the world. In the early days, it was distributed all over the world with European immigrants, but after hybridization, it became ferocious and was gradually eliminated in its place of origin. The purebred European black bees in their place of origin are almost extinct. Now, only some black bee strains are preserved with the protection of various countries.
