You are not selfish for needing support.
And you are not alone for feeling exhausted by being “the strong one.”

So many of my clients are highly sensitive, intuitive souls who’ve spent their lives keeping it together—for kids, for partners, for clients, for everyone else.

They come to me when their bodies say “no more.”

Today a client said,
“My mind doesn’t stop. I keep trying to force myself to relax.”

I gently told her:
“You don’t have to. It’s okay if your mind is busy.”

And once she stopped fighting herself,
something beautiful happened…

She dropped in even deeper.

This is the nervous system at work.
It doesn’t always need control.
It needs permission.

You don’t have to be perfectly relaxed to receive care.
You don’t have to fix or silence yourself.
You get to show up exactly as you are - and that’s enough.

I used to think healing meant fixing something.
That I had to work through all my blocks, release all my pain, and rewrite every story before I could feel whole.

But somatic work has taught me something different.
That healing isn’t always about fixing.
It’s about listening.
It’s about aligning.

Today I cried watching a group of performers take their bows on stage.
It wasn’t sadness.
It was a wave of truth.
A part of me that still longs to express. To sing. To be seen.

That’s the body speaking.
That’s what somatic work helps us access—not just the wounds, but the wisdom.
The emotions that rise when we’re near something that matters.
The quiet ache of soul-alignment.

You don’t have to force yourself to be someone else.
You just have to become more you.

And the body always knows the way.
