To enhance the professional competencies of RPNs by ensuring the research, development and delivery of quality educational programs. Our CEO Dianne Martin was at the Sheridan College Centre for Healthy Communities alongside Minister of Health Sylvia Jones and Minister of Long-Term Care Natalia Kusendova-Bashta for today’s announcement of $56.8 million in provincial funding to train 2,200 more nurses across Ontario. This means more dedicated professionals providing care in our hospitals, long-term care homes, and communities.

The announcement includes the introduction of new online pathways that will help more PSWs become RPNs, and RPNs become RNs. This is a fantastic opportunity for career growth for our RPNs and will support more nurses be able to provide care closer to home.
