We support new parents or parents-to-be in making the healthiest food choices easy for you and your family. We offer workshops, Mommy Chef cooking classes, one-on-one consultations, private cooking classes, two Mommy Chef DVDs (perfect if you can’t get to a course or need a refresher) and our great new book, Sprout Right. Did you know that minerals like sodium, potassium, and magnesium are just as important as water? They help regulate fluid balance and support muscle function.

Avoid sugary drinks, as they can dehydrate you. Instead, try low-sugar options like coconut water or homemade electrolyte solutions.

Remember to drink enough water based on your activity level and add a pinch of Celtic Sea salt for enhanced absorption. Watch for signs of dehydration like headaches or muscle cramps, and monitor your urine color for a quick hydration check.

Stay cool and healthy by prioritizing mineral-rich fluids!

Take This by Lianne Supplement Announcement 📢

SproutRight.com store doors are closing...

Whether you’re aware of the coming changes to the Canadian supplement market, I have been intently following since interviewing Shawn Buckley from NHPPA.org in episode 168. While things have moved on since we recorded the episode, it’s still worth a listen.

As I began writing my second book, Sprout Right Family Food, over five years ago, having a supplement line was a dream I had for so many years. I didn’t want to keep promoting other less effective products. I wanted to put an exceptional product on the market for those who want quality and effectiveness. While I still firmly believe in all the Take This by Lianne supplements, the changes that will be coming are financially too much for my small business to bear.

I’ve had people comment on the price of the products, and while I know you get what you pay for, I have kept the price as low as possible, given the cost of raw materials and all that goes into the supplements. With the new fees and requirements like a site license, there is no way I can charge what they’d really cost, and that’s before skyrocketing shipping charges, exchange rates, and more.

I have made the tough decision to stop production once my current stock runs out of the seven Take This by Lianne products: Kid and Skin Boost superfood powder, Cell Mins minerals, Adult Boost Multi-Nutrient, Bio Boost probiotic, Omega Boost essential fatty acid, Alka C vitamin C powder, and Sunshine D3 + K2 liposome spray. This is also the last opportunity to order any Physica Energetics products.

The digital doors of the SproutRight.com store will close permanently as of May 15th at midnight EST.

Note: Orders may take extra time to fulfill and ship.

Ever thought about giving fasting a try? It's more than just a trend—it's a lifestyle that could transform your health and well-being.

Whether it's starting with a simple 12-hour overnight fast or exploring the popular 16:8 method (16 hours fasting, 8 hours eating), there's a fasting schedule that can integrate into your life.

Benefits range from enhanced weight management and improved metabolic health to the elimination of inefficient cells—like a natural detox for your body.

Did you know? Our genes are actually designed to support fasting, thanks to our ancestors who adapted to periods without food.

Plus, it's easy to implement. No meal prep needed during fasting periods means more time for you!

What are you making in your air fryer? Are you mostly making fried food alternatives? We all love a quick meal, but are you taking the time and putting veggies on the side?

What you’re not going to make in your air fryer are stews, brown rice, quinoa, high-fibre foods that provide fiber, minerals, vitamins, and plant vitamins that don’t have names yet.

It’s about the forever chemicals found in the coating of most air fryers. The Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (or PFAS) are used in non-stick coating on many cookware, bakeware, and kitchen appliances, including air fryers. You’ve probably heard about the health concerns linked to Teflon, the brand name of the most famous non-stick coating, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which is a type of PFAS chemical. PTFE coatings (like Teflon) use a binding agent called perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), which is linked to various health concerns (3). Other non-stick cookware is made with perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS), which is another toxic PFAS chemical.

When heated to extremely high temperatures, over 400 degrees Fahrenheit, PFAS, which is often present in non-stick coating, can seep into food and into our blood, kidneys, and liver.

Chocolate milk is often celebrated as an excellent choice for post-workout recovery, with its packaging boasting benefits like muscle-building protein and calcium for strengthening bones and teeth.

While it also includes an added bonus of 400 IU of vitamin D, this amount hovers at the lower spectrum of the daily requirement, suggesting the need to supplement with other sources for your vitamin D intake.

Interestingly, chocolate milk hits the mark with a carb-to-protein ratio of 3-4:1, aligning with nutritional guidelines for post-exercise recovery.

Sip smarter, not harder!

Did you know that while 400mg of caffeine is your safe daily limit (about 4-5 cups of coffee), it's the polyphenols in your brew that are the real MVPs, boosting cell protection—until you add milk or sugar?

Plus, have you ever wondered about the caffeine kick in your coffee roast? It's not the darkness of the bean but the amount of coffee you brew that amplifies the energy.

Stay informed, stay energized, and make every cup count!
