We encourage guests to wear solid colours for their portrait!
This will beautifully complement the stunning backdrop designed by artist Gabrielle Lasporte, which is vibrant green and is a leaf pattern (see the banner at the top of this page). Think simple, clean, and bold tones that help you shine while keeping the focus on your presence and the art behind you.

📥 When Do I Get My Photos?
Photos will be delivered by July 3, 2025. In exchange for this gift, all we ask is that you share your photo as an in-feed Instagram post within 14 days and tag us . We’ll provide a simple copy-paste credit caption—easy peasy.

🌟 Unity Sings: Spring Song Circle Series
Where voices rise, hearts connect, and harmony heals

🎶 What Is It?
Unity Sings is an 8-week soulful singing series where you’ll reconnect with your voice and heart in a warm, supportive circle—no experience needed. Rooted in the African wisdom of Ubuntu (“I am because we are”), this joyful practice invites us to sing simple, powerful songs that celebrate unity, healing, and presence.
You don’t need to be a “singer”—just bring your breath, your presence, and a willingness to connect. We’ll learn songs by ear, repeat them rhythmically, and let harmonies naturally emerge. This isn’t performance—it’s a return to the deep truth that our voices are medicine, especially when shared.
Co-facilitated by Ciara Adams and Rufus Glassco, each session begins with gentle vocal warmups and body-awareness practices, followed by an Ubuntu-inspired song circle. Whether you're experienced or brand new, you’ll find a safe space where every voice matters.
Come as you are. Leave feeling lighter, brighter, and more connected.

Drumunity Circle will happen every other Tuesday starting on April 29th - future dates include: May 13th, May 27th, June10th and June 24th and beyond!

Step into the rhythm, and let the beat guide you home...

Join us for a vibrant evening of rhythm, connection, and pure musical joy!

The Drumunity Circle is a welcoming space for drummers, percussionists, dancers and music lovers of all levels to come together and co-create an unforgettable groove.

A sacred space where rhythm becomes ritual, and music is the language of the collective spirit!

🌕 The journey begins at 8 PM with a complimentary 20-minute drumming initiation — perfect for newcomers, anyone looking to warm up or wishing to ground into the groove.

We will have a limited number of extra djembe drums and percussion instruments for those who don't yet have their own. These will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

Then from 8:30 pm to 10.30pm we flow into an open, un-facilitated drum circle where creativity, improvisation, and good vibes reign supreme. Every heartbeat, tap, and shake is welcomed in this free-flowing rhythmic experience. Bring your drum, rattle, shaker, or simply your presence. Let intuition lead. Bring your energy.

The Unity Studio has 42 + chairs in our venue so there is no need to bring a chair!

DANCERS are welcome as you always bring so much vitality and inspiration to the drum circle : )

This is more than a jam session — it’s a community experience where:

ABOUT THE HOST:

Rufus Glassco has been facilitating drum circles for 20 years, and he passionately believes that everyone has rhythm, and that we all long for, and benefit from, real connection with others. He facilitates recreational, shamanic and workplace health & wellness drum circles, and is a certified HealthRHYTHMS & Rhythm2Recovery facilitator. He works with children & older adults, people with cancer, PTSD and mental illness, and he facilitates corporate & teacher wellness & resiliency workshops.
