Wondering who is your Biodanza Facilitator? 👇🏾
In my early thirties, I experienced significant physical and mental distress due to my job in the computer science industry. I heard about Biodanza in Berlin through my brother who was training as a facilitator there in 1997. Having loved Salsa and merengue for many years, I was intrigued about Biodanza.

My first Biodanza workshop in Bogota-Colombia in '98 was impactful. I felt inspired to enrol in the 3+ years training and I became a facilitator. This was just the beginning as I could manage much better my stressful work and planted the seed of a career change. My curiosity about my own wellbeing and human nature led me to explore and study the wisdom of the body through Zen shiatsu, energy, rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Then, I was curious about how our mind/emotions have an impact on our health and wellbeing, so I pursued embodied Gestalt psychotherapy and coaching.
It’s been an extraordinary journey, and I appreciate the invaluable experiences and learning I have chosen to dive in. After 20 years of experience in offering body-mind-energy-emotion practices for health and wellbeing to clients and groups, I feel empowered to support others on their journeys, providing them with the space to navigate their own challenges and development. Inviting them to "Trust the process".

Life is Movement 🌷 Movement is Life ✨Life is Relationship
"What we call obstacles are really the way the world and our entire experience teach us where we’re stuck. What may appear to be an arrow or a sword we can actually experience as a flower. Whether we experience what happens to us as obstacle and enemy or as teacher and friend depends entirely on our perception of reality. It depends on our relationship with ourselves." Pema Chodron
You are invited to experience our services and practices that are an opportunity to discover more of who you are in body-mind-emotions-spirit when you are feeling stuck, confused, with not enough energy, lethargic, sad, low, and you need someone to hold the space for you to find the answers and to find your unique way 🌟 Interested? send me a PM ☺️

"The more you sit, the more your large muscles are not using glucose, the body's main energy source. Uninterrupted sitting can cause blood sugar levels to rise, triggering the release of insulin, the hormone that regulates blood sugar," says Dr. Hicham Skali, a cardiologist with Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's Hospital. Over time, sedentary habits cause the body to become less sensitive to insulin. The resulting insulin resistance promotes inflammation, a key player in the buildup of fatty plaque inside arteries, he explains." Harvard Health Publishing

Now, when you choose a practice that involves coordination of breathing and movement which requires being present and mindful, the impact is substantial in our brain and in our ability to listen our body.

You are welcome to experience it yourself in one of our practices and services. Come as you are :)

Our Story

Biodanza is a system of human integration stimulated by music, movement, expression and group interaction in a playful and joyous way. Its name comes from the merging of two vital forces: “Bio” means “Life” and “Danza” means “movement full of meaning”. Biodanza literally means “The Dance of Life”.

It was created in Latin America in the 1960’s by the Psychologist and Anthropologist Rolando Toro Araneda.
