Physiotherapy is so much more than exercises and treatment plans.

Behind every appointment is a physiotherapist helping patients understand their bodies, build confidence, track progress, problem-solve, and keep going when recovery feels tough.

It’s care. It’s coaching. It’s movement support with a whole lot of heart. 💙

At Lifemark, our physiotherapists help people move better, feel stronger, and get back to the activities that matter most.

Every race has a story. Dale DuPlessis’s is one we’re honoured to keep sharing. 💙

At 92, Dale took part in the Lifemark 5KM during Blue Nose Marathon weekend, walking alongside his family and continuing a tradition built on movement, connection and joy.

His story is a meaningful reminder that staying active can look different at every age. Sometimes, the goal isn’t speed. It’s showing up, moving with the people you love and making memories along the way.

Read Dale’s inspiring story in honour of his memory. 👇

Training for your first marathon? Here’s what most runners get wrong 👇

The key isn’t doing more – it’s doing the right things consistently:
• Gradual mileage progression
• Prioritizing long runs
• Practicing your fueling strategy
• Keeping easy runs truly easy
• Trusting your taper

A smart plan helps you reach the start line – staying injury-free gets you to the finish 🏁

👉 If aches or pains are slowing you down, a physiotherapist can help you build strength, fix imbalances, and stay on track. Book your assessment today.

Today, we honour workers who have lost their lives, been injured, or become ill due to workplace incidents, and we stand with families and communities impacted by these tragedies.

At Lifemark, our occupational health and multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams work alongside employers and workers every day with one shared goal: safer workplaces and healthier outcomes. This Day of Mourning reminds us why prevention, early intervention, and thoughtful return-to-work support matter.

We pause at 11:00 am this morning to reflect, remember, and reaffirm our commitment to protecting workers – today and every day.
