💕🫶 First Tuesday of December is Giving Tuesday - a day to recognize our shared humanity and give generously to causes that are meaningful to us.

Each year, The Village Pharmacy gives to causes that are important to our community, our country and the world. Since 2001, giving back is our commitment to you - our clients - to honour your support, and help however we can, to make the world a better place for all of us.

We recognize and honour the hard work and real-life impact of the organizations we support, their staff and volunteers. We also recognize that this year is a particularly trying one for charities, with many facing deficits and program cuts. If you can, please consider giving generously - I know these organizations will be grateful for your support.

At The Village Pharmacy, we give 5% of our profits each year to organizations that align with our work and our values, and honour our clients - HIV Services and Awareness, Food Security, Poverty Alleviation, Mental Health, Men's Health and the Environment.

We've made our contributions for the year! If you're wondering where to give, check out our list here (in no particular order). If you have one that should be on it, please let us know in the comments 💕

With gratitude.

This is our 20th World AIDS Day - opened its doors at 473 Church St. We've come a long way since those days where drug cocktails were hard on people, testing for HIV was hard to access, plus loads of stigma and tough times for lots of people in our community. 20 years and 3 locations later, we have self-tests for HIV, PrEP & PEP to proactively prevent HIV infection, one-pill once-a-day HIV treatments that allow people to live normal, healthy and long lives, and now injectables that are once every month or every two months for both HIV treatment and prevention as injectable PrEP.

There's still a ways to go as the HIV infection rate is on the rise again across Canada. But there's also more hope and optimism than ever before. To our clients, thank you for your support - we stand with you.

A huge thank you to all our pharmacy managers and pharmacy staff at The Village Pharmacy who always go the extra mile for our clients, as well the HIV services organizations, HIV and PrEP medical practitioners, researchers, and HIV drug companies - you are all inspiring, and we're grateful to be a part of this caring and innovative community.

HIV | PrEP | PEP

The Village Pharmacy in the heart of Toronto’s Church-Wellesley Village is your best choice for HIV, PrEP and PEP meds.

Since 2001, The Village Pharmacy has built a reputation for friendly, compassionate and professional care you can trust. You’ll get your meds when you need them, expert counselling, help with insurance and payment coverage, and we even deliver HIV meds for free, Ontario-wide.

“The friendly and knowledgable staff have kept me coming back for years. I left another pharmacy because the service was terrible and found they weren't very appreciative of my business. Another reason I love this pharmacy is because they give back to the community. Their delivery service is also great for times when you're running low on your meds and can't make it in, even if you're out of the province.” - Google Review
