Hello I’m Christy Deere the owner of Collingwood Kombucha Company

My grand mother - Sybil Clarke, born in Trinidad and a proud Canadian Citizen for over 70 years - was just 45 yrs old when her doctor told her she had Lupus and that there was nothing they could do to help her, he said she would just slowly die from the autoimmune disease. On her way home from work one day she stopped at Kensington market, in Toronto, to buy her veggies for the week. The Chinese man who owned the shop noticed she was losing her hair and the pigmentation in her skin. He took her to the back room of his shop where he was practicing Chinese Herbal Medicine and sent her home with all kinds of strange plants and roots, teas and and wild concoctions in little bottles. From that day forward she took control of her own health by including traditional and herbal medicines in her daily routine. She lived a strong vibrant life, free from disease, until she died peacefully at age 96. An ancient, naturally carbonated wellness beverage made from fermented tea and Infused with a unique blend of healthy and real fruits, herbs, spices and botanicals.
