Please see below for the details of my upcoming Supervisor Training Course (designed to fulfill the CRPO’s 30-hour training requirement).
If you’ve been considering offering supervision, or feel a pull to hone your skills or solidify your understanding of the role/intricacies, this may be a nice fit for you. This will be the fifth and sixth iterations of this course I’ve offered, and I’ve received lovely feedback from past participants regarding its relevancy and supportiveness.
The course will consist of 25 hours of course work and reflections at your own pace, on your own time, and five, 60 minute live, virtual workshops (with varied learning styles held in mind).
All workshops will be recorded and shared, and you are welcome to watch them at your own pace if you aren’t able to join live.
The course will involve independent reading of your own choosing (options provided, though you are welcome to veer), and teaching/discussion on the themes of supervisory roles, relevant legal considerations, ethics, business, and supervision philosophy.

one starting in the Summer and one starting in the Fall.

By the end of the training, you will have fulfilled the 30-hour course component necessary to supervise as an RP (though designations of all kinds are welcome and will find the material relevant).
Supervising has been a truly sustaining and longevity-creating aspect of my practice, and I am delighted to be able to share in this side of the work with anyone itching to diversify their practice.
Fees for the course will fall on a scale from $900-$1800 + HST depending on your financial needs, and payment can be made in one or three instalments. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you are interested in attending but unsure of the cost viability —I don’t want cost to hold you back from participating if you are desiring growing in this direction. In order to secure your spot, I ask for a non-refundable deposit of at least 1/3 your self-determined course fee.
