Choices.

We make them all the time—every day, every hour, every minute.
Some are big, like choosing a university or a career. Others are small, like deciding on a flavor of ice cream. But they all matter because they shape who we are.
When we’re clear on our values and beliefs, it becomes easier to make decisions, even the tough ones. And when we get it “wrong”? That’s okay, too. Mistakes are how we learn, grow, and move forward.
Life is a constant cycle of choices, lessons, and growth—and that’s what makes it beautiful.

The Bwg Diversity Wellness fair brought together a wide variety of providers from a Homeopathic doctor to nutritionists and myself, a Grief coach and Death Doula. Thank you Nusrat Awan for giving us a space to share our wisdom.
Looking forward to deepening the connections and reconnection I made!

Not All “Lumps” Are Created Equal
I enjoy Robert Fulghum's books because I get to laugh out loud and get a small life lesson. His story "Sigmund Wollman's Reality Test" has been a cornerstone in my life.
“Life is lumpy. And a lump in the oatmeal, a lump in the throat, and a lump in a breast are not the same lump. One should learn the difference.”
― Robert Fulghum, Uh-oh: Some Observations from Both Sides of the Refrigerator Door

Life throws us challenges, but not all of them require the same level of response. If we treat every inconvenience like it’s a full-blown crisis, we only add stress to our bodies and minds. Over time, that stress wears us down, making it harder to handle the real challenges when they come.
The key? Take a moment to pause and ask yourself: Is this an oatmeal kind of lump, or something more serious? Respond accordingly and let yourself off the hook when it’s just oatmeal.
Life is tough enough—let’s not make it tougher than it needs to be. ❤️

Ikigai: Finding Purpose in Life

Have you heard of ikigai? It’s a beautiful Japanese concept where “iki” means life, and “gai” means value. It’s all about discovering your purpose and finding joy in the small, meaningful moments of everyday life.
In the Western world, it’s often interpreted as finding your passion and turning it into a career.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how my values, passion and purpose align.
As a death doula and end-of-life care planner, I feel honored to provide empathy & strength to those preparing for the final chapters of their lives. It’s incredibly meaningful work, and I know in my heart that this is my ikigai.

What’s your ikigai? How do you find purpose and fulfillment in your life? I’d love to hear your thoughts. 💕

What resolutions will you make in 2025 to build your legacy?

At this time of year, we start making New Year resolutions for the year ahead. Resolutions are the small steps to creating our legacy.

What do you want to be remembered for?
What did you stand for?
Whose life did you impact?
What values did you live by and were known for?
How did you bring laughter and joy?
What will you regret at the end of your journey?
What stories and memories will you pass on to those you leave behind?

Do these seem like overwhelming questions? Work with me in 2025 and together we will create your vision and begin the steps to leaving a legacy of a life well lived.

Envision & Evolve: The Story Behind the Name

2020 was a year that reshaped the world—and it reshaped me. Before life as we knew it came to a halt, I was facilitating vision workshops. These weren’t about vision boards; they were about true VISION.

Creating a vision starts like any significant project: with the end in mind. And what is the ultimate end for all of us? It’s death. To truly envision our lives, we must begin with our LEGACY.

But here’s the challenge: to talk about legacy, we must EVOLVE beyond the fear of death. We must confront our culture’s reluctance to discuss aging, dying, and mortality. Only then can we transcend these fears and embrace the truth—that our immortality goes beyond material measures like homes or cars.

It is this connection between life & death and vision & legacy that led to the name ENVISION & EVOLVE. Brad Hearn and I were sitting on the back of our boat talking about this connection and it is Brad that came up with the name! Thank you Heather Kruse Chapman for a logo that aligns so deeply with me.

When we evolve into a space of acceptance, we uncover a way of being that prioritizes presence, joy, and fulfillment. We begin to envision lives rooted in purpose, connection, and the understanding that greatness lies in how deeply we live each moment.

💭 What legacy are you envisioning? How are you evolving to create it?

With the season comes the stress!
This time of year can be hectic for everyone, from the never ending parties to end-of-year work deadlines!
When I start to notice myself burning out, I give myself a timeout to breathe and collect my thoughts.
Some of my favourite gentle, non-invasive therapies include:
🌿 Aromatherapy – The right scent can instantly soothe and ground me.
🎶 Music – There’s nothing like a beautiful melody to reset my mood.
💆‍♀️ Massage – A little TLC for the body can go a long way.
What are some of your favourite ways to unwind from holiday stress?

The profession of coaching has transformed my life in the last 3 years. Since my mid 20s I have been pushed into 'self help' books, seminars and podcasts. I discovered the coaching profession on this journey.

Dr. Begum Verjee, Ed.D., M.Ed., PCC introduced me the Adler Graduate Professional School when we met at an EFT training. It was a serendipitous moment that has transformed my self awareness, my relationships and will continue to shape the rest of my life.

I have engaged deeply with the International Coaching Federation and am particularly grateful for all that ICF Toronto - Charter Chapter is doing for its members.

Alicia Saint, ACC, ATC, ACE, Kim Leitch, Donna Needs, David Peterson, PCC, Sam Jayasundera, CTMP, ICF-ACC, CSM® and many others have worked hard to create the HUBs across the GTA to allow members to make more meaningful connections, learn and support each other.

I don't always remember to take pictures of our HUB gatherings but the Newmarket HUB has attracted coaches from a wide breadth of niches and levels of experience. We bring deep questions of what it means to create a corporate culture steeped in respect, integrity, compassion and courage to how Ai can support coaches in their marketing.

And, there is always laughter! Kathleen Redmond, Mary Lou Di Paolo, Todd Sinclair, PCC, Yuri Minski, Doris Romano, Shehzad Qureshi, Monika Reynolds, MA, NBC-HWC, CEC, ICF-ACC, NASM-CPT, RYT, Jennifer Lee and all the other coaches that have come out to our meetings, thank you. I look forward to deepening our connections in 2025.

John Lennon's song "So this is Christmas" always gets me thinking about what I have done this year.

Facilitating legacy workshops expands my thinking to what I have done with my life.

What will your legacy be?
None of us know when our time will come, but one thing is certain: we can choose how we’ll be remembered.
What do you want your loved ones to hold onto after you’re gone? Your life lessons? Family recipes? Stories that bring a smile to their faces?
Thinking about the end of life can feel scary or overwhelming, but planning ahead can actually bring comfort and peace. Whether it’s writing a eulogy, creating a scrapbook, or turning your cherished recipes into a cookbook, these simple actions can ensure your legacy lives on in the way you want.
Planning for the inevitable isn’t just about easing the burden on your family—it’s about celebrating your life and the memories that matter most.
So, what will you do today to shape your legacy?

Emotional & Spiritual Support When It Matters Most 🙏
As a Life Transition Coach and End of Life Care Planner with Envision & Evolve, I’m here to help individuals and families navigate life’s toughest transitions with compassion, intention, and even a little laughter.
💛 Here’s how I can help:
• Companionship: Sometimes, just being there is enough. I offer a listening ear, a comforting presence, and yes, even a good laugh to help ease loneliness and anxiety. (My brand is to bring the laughter!)
• Life Review: Looking back on life’s memories and accomplishments can bring a deep sense of peace. I help people celebrate their stories—and even write their own eulogies or obituaries to honor their journey.
• Legacy Work: Let’s get intentional! Whether it’s capturing Nonna making her famous pasta sauce or Dad fixing his Harley, I help preserve personal moments and heartfelt messages that loved ones will treasure forever.
💬 Let’s connect if you or someone you love could use support during this important time. Together, we can create space for love, peace, and purpose.

Optimism Isn’t Passive—It’s Powerful ⚡

Optimism doesn’t mean assuming everything will magically get better. Instead, it’s the conviction that we have the power to MAKE things better.

In my work as a Life Transition Coach and End of Life Care Planner, I’ve seen how this mindset can transform even the most difficult situations. Optimism helps us face challenges with courage and take meaningful steps toward healing, growth, and peace.

It’s not about denying hardships or pain—it’s about choosing to focus on what can be done and finding hope in the possibilities.

No matter where you are in life, you have the strength to create change. It all starts with a small step forward. 💛

What are you feeling optimistic about today? Let me know in the comments!

My road to Mindful Mentoring......

Are you ready for the 4th Industrial Revolution? Mankind is still in its infancy and we have much to learn, grow and evolve. What I have learned is we create our lives through our thoughts, intentions and interactions with all around us. When we see beauty in all, we are lifted up. When we put forth gratitude and joy, we receive abundance. And when we are willing to set aside our ego and be fearless, we evolve and become limitless. Becoming an Arbonne consultant has taught me to have purpose, practice excellence and be resilient! Arbonne is health and wellness inside and out and allows choice. The products are the vehicle, I am the messenger and the business is the gift that will continue to serve for generations to come. But this was not enough - Wellness is composed of 4 parts - Nutrition and Internal Wellness, Physical Activity and External Wellness, Emotional and Mental Wellness. For complete wellness, one must support all 4 aspects. And Envision Workshops was born.

Our journeys of self discovery and search for wisdom never end. My journey to entrepreneur took me along roads that helped me discover what I was ‘not’ as well as who I wanted to ‘be’ - From growing up in India, moving to Canada at 18, going through high school again, university for a year, an ECE diploma that I will never officially use, being an employee in various organisations and finally becoming a mother. Every painful moment and every small step forward taught me something. There are people that have come into my life that have lifted me up and forever changed me. And I will always be grateful to them.
