We were there years ago, Shoshana was pregnant with their second child. Our eldest had severe eczema and behavioral difficulties. Adam had a tumor and was told that the chances of him dying before the age of 40 were quite high. The answers were to medicate our son, surgically remove Adam’s tumor (and kidney) and cross our fingers that no one got sicker. This was not acceptable for us, and it should not be acceptable to you. Our research and studies have given us the tools to not just survive, but thrive. The power of proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices has cleared our son’s eczema and behavioral issues, shrunken Adam’s tumor and has us thriving so many years later. Not only that, this gift has given us the responsibility to help so many other people, like you, on their journey to health. Helping families who are overwhelmed with illness, mental health or behavior disorders embrace a more “planti-ful” diet and other healthy lifestyle skills in order to have a more peaceful, worry free healthy family life is our priority. ☕ Not everyone should drink coffee… but let’s be real—most people just want to know if it’s good for them and are looking for a reason to keep it in their diet.

Here are 6 need-to-know facts about coffee (organic or not):

1️⃣ Antioxidants & Longevity – Coffee’s main antioxidant, chlorogenic acid, helps enhance autophagy (cell cleanup), which may explain why coffee drinkers often live longer. 🧫

2️⃣ Roast Matters– Dark roasts (even Starbucks) can wipe out up to 90% of chlorogenic acid losing most of the health benefits. Choose light-to-medium roasts preserve the most. 😮

3️⃣ Milk Choice – Soy milk = fine ✅. Dairy milk or cream = cuts chlorogenic acid absorption by about 40% ❌.

4️⃣ Brew Method – Brewed coffee (longer water contact) holds more antioxidants than espresso. Hot or cold brew? No real difference. 💧

5️⃣ Cholesterol Impact – Paper-filtered coffee keeps out compounds (cafestol & kahweol) that raise cholesterol. French press, Turkish, or boiled coffee? Not so kind to your numbers. Instant coffee is safe here too. 🩸

6️⃣ Capsule Coffee– Most pods do have paper filters (so no cholesterol spike), but the hot plastic adds small amounts of estrogenic chemicals. Still, levels are within safety limits. 🫛

✨ Bottom line: If you want the healthiest coffee, go for a medium roast, brewed through a paper filter, with non-dairy milk (if you like it creamy).

4 years later.
Both of us with so much growth.
Doing the best we can.
Enjoying life.
But the lessons I’ve learned in the last 4 years seems to outweigh the 42 before that.
Now I’m not afraid of ageing - I’m afraid of not being myself.

Mini Putt Life Lessons ⛳️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Just went mini putting with the fam and somehow ended up with a few golden life and biz lessons. Because apparently, wisdom hides in windmills and bumpy green carpets…

🏌️‍♀️ Keep it simple.
Every time I tried to get fancy… yeah, it did not work out. The basic, boring shots were the ones that actually got the ball in the hole. A little creativity? Yes. Reinventing the wheel? No thanks.

💙 Try again (and again).
The second or third try was always better. So if it doesn’t click right away—whether it’s a putt or a pitch—don’t freak out. You’re just warming up.

💙 Slow and steady wins... the putter?
Spoiler: I did not get a hole-in-one. But small, steady taps got me way closer than wild swings. (Applies to business. Applies to mini golf. Applies to folding laundry, tbh.)

The kids learned a lot about leadership and caring for others.

We learned a lot about animals l, their needs and their personalities!

I was even able to use my healing skills with the animals the same way we do humans. After all- we are all animals!

We hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! ❤️

Valentine’s Day is more than just spending time with someone you love. We believe it’s also a reminder to reflect on your self-love and how you care for yourself.

Take some time to write down all the qualities you love about yourself. It might feel uncomfortable at first—many of us weren’t taught that it’s okay to appreciate ourselves. But self-love is essential! It helps you respect yourself, create boundaries, and put on your own oxygen mask before helping someone else.

This Valentine’s Day weekend, we encourage you to spend some time alone, reflecting on how much you love yourself and where you can improve in showing yourself that love.

The snow is coming so looking back on beach days.
This was an amazing trip I earned in 2019 that I got to take Adam on to meet my work family.
