Lately I’ve been on a bit of a journey—a messy, beautiful one.
I’ve been reading, reflecting, meditating, journaling… trying to get honest with myself. Unlearning some of the things I was taught about who I should be. Reclaiming the parts of me I’ve tucked away for too long.
It’s not always easy. But it feels important.
I know I’m not the only one who feels the quiet ache for something more—more truth, more space, more connection, more you in your life. So I started writing about it. An 8-part blog series for women who are tired of feeling like they have to hold it all together while slowly disappearing inside.
This week, I’m diving into something that so many women carry but rarely talk about: mom guilt. That constant tug that whispers, You should be doing more. You should be better. You should be grateful. Even when you're doing your best. Especially when you're running on empty.
Part 3 of my blog series, Reclaiming You, is all about untangling ourselves from that guilt and remembering that your worth is not defined by your sacrifices. You are allowed to have needs. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to be human.

If you’ve been following along, thank you—it means so much. And if you’re just finding this now, you can catch up with Part 1 and Part 2 further down the blog section of my website. I’ll be releasing a new post each week, and I’d love to walk through this together.
We’re not meant to do this alone. Reach out anytime if you want to connect. 🩷

This blog series, Reclaiming You, is for the woman who is tired of feeling like she has to hold it all together while feeling like she’s falling apart inside. It’s for the ones carrying invisible loads, silencing their needs, and feeling guilty when they dare to want more.“Mothers have martyre...

Have you ever read a book that shook something loose inside you—something you didn’t even know needed to be set free?

For me, that book was Untamed by Glennon Doyle.

Her words cracked open pieces of me that had been quiet for too long. The parts of me that were tired of pretending, tired of pleasing, tired of shrinking. Untamed reminded me that it’s okay to feel everything. That I don’t have to be everything for everyone. That I can trust myself.

It didn’t fix everything overnight. But it started something. And that something turned into a question I couldn’t ignore: What would life look like if I stopped abandoning myself?

That’s how my blog series—Reclaiming You—was born.
It’s a love letter to the women who feel the quiet ache. The ones who are always helping, always holding it together, and still wonder, “Is this all there is?”

If Untamed has ever been on your list (and even if it isn’t), I highly recommend you pick it up. And if any of this speaks to you, I’d love for you to read Part 1: You Are Not Just the Helper: Reclaiming Your Needs and join me on this journey of coming home to yourself. 🩷

Recently, I read the book Untamed by Glennon Doyle and was deeply moved and inspired by it. But more than anything, it gave me permission to listen to my own voice—the one buried under the noise, the guilt, the mental load. This blog series is my way of peeling back those layers. It’s not about ...
