I am happy to share that I am now a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and seeing clients in-person and online! It is truly so exciting, after so much training, self-starting, and bootstrapping, to be "in the field" and starting to get to do this very exciting work! I have some updates! I am now based in Toronto where I am completing my practicum work. It is so energizing to be in the city and doing this work in person, both in groups and one-on-one. Art transforms us!! Let's get our hands dirty and make messes! Want to give the Expressive Arts a try?
The Expressive Arts is a way for us to explore themes, questions, and experiences in our lives through a variety of art mediums. It's for anyone who would like to explore themselves and their lives more deeply through the arts. I personally find it so powerful in my own life on a daily basis, both as a client and as a therapist / coach!

Why the expressive arts?

Gosh…the expressive arts are such a wide open field. You can use it to explore unexpressed parts of your life, to unblock yourself as an artist, to find your “inner child” again, to get sparks for a creative project. I have seen so many different ways in which a person’s truth has expressed itself through the expressive arts. It is truly a place of powerful play! Using visual arts, movement, drama, writing, sound making...the sky is the limit.

What if you didn't need to fix yourself?
It seems like such a radical thought, doesn't it?
It definitely makes me pause and wonder how I can live into that myself.

I hope you can join me at the Reshaping Body Image Workshop that is happening this Saturday at 1pm at Found Coffee Guelph! 😍 All woman-identified, trans and non-binary folks are welcome.
