Our team is always excited to test and try new variations for our Spinal Decompression Table.

If you haven't heard of Spinal Decompression before, take a read!

Traditional and conventional rehab, which involves performing resistance exercises through a range of motion (i.e.weights, machines, Therabands), works only the fast twitch muscles. The fast twitch muscles will make you strong, but they will not change the structure or remove the underlying cause of the disc problem. They will help you carry your groceries better, while your spinal structure continues to degenerate and your body becomes sick. The spinal muscles that support the spinal curves and determine your posture and health are slow-twitch postural muscles. These muscles require isometric exercise to strengthen and restore postural health. Once the spine is sufficiently decompressed, head, shoulder, and hip weighting are essential parts of the corrective isometric exercise program designed to predictably restore optimal spinal and postural alignment, permanently!

These condensed warm-up before your golf round can help make sure your ready to take your first swing. Getting your muscles warm are ready to fire are a key to performing optimally on the course. A small study done by TPI found a dynamic warm-up improved ball-striking quality and carry distance. Further increases were seen with a banded warm-up as well! If you'd like to see a video of the banded warm-up, drop us a comment! We look forward to creating more golf related content for our community.

Keep swinging!

These exercises come recommended from TPI (Titleist Performance Institute). Link to the study done on warm-ups here:

Active lengthening is one of the main therapeutic interventions that aims to alleviate pain, improve spinal alignment, and enhance overall function by gently stretching and elongating the spine.

Benefits of Decompression and Lengthening for Scoliosis

Pain Relief: Decompression and lengthening can help alleviate pain associated with scoliosis by relieving pressure on compressed nerves and muscles.
Improved Mobility: By gradually stretching the spine, this therapy can enhance flexibility and range of motion, allowing individuals to move more freely and comfortably.

Correction of Spinal alignment: While not a cure for scoliosis, decompression and lengthening can help improve alignment and posture related to the spinal curvature.

Enhanced Quality of Life: By addressing pain and mobility issues, this therapy can significantly improve quality of life for individuals living with scoliosis, enabling them to engage in activities they enjoy and lead fulfilling lives.

Scoliosis is a condition that affects millions of people worldwide, characterized by an abnormal curvature of the spine. While scoliosis can vary in severity and cause, it often leads to discomfort, pain, and limited mobility for those affected. Most notably, the scoliotic deviation has been associated with wedging of both vertebrae and discs, which is more susceptible to compression than a normal spine.

Each of the five senses collects information and sends it to your brain. This is how we can see, hear, taste, feel, and smell the world around us.

One of the senses we spend time on during concussion rehabilitation is sight. A concussion is a functional injury, not a structural one, meaning we need to improve, or rehabilitate the function of the eyes.

Would you like to learn more about how to evaluate, and treat concussions?

My name is Kajalpreet Kaur and I am currently interning at Complete Balance Health Centre (CBHC) while completing my Fitness and Health Promotion program at Seneca College. Being an intern at CBHC has been a wonderful experience so far for me as I been able to learn new skills from experienced professionals who have also ensured I understood the purpose, the underlying physiology, and the mechanisms being acted on.
One of the best things I learned what the Stretch Therapy techniques that utilizes a Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) technique.
My goal is to pursue my Physiotherapy studies after completed of my internship and I feel this was a beneficial step to build foundational skills for my further studies.

02/19/2024

Vitamin D deficiency is the most common medical condition worldwide. Although the human body produces vitamin D in response to sun exposure, several recent studies have identified a surprisingly high prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in healthy adults living in Canada and the United States causing mood changes, bone loss, muscle cramps and weakness, bone and joint pain (especially in the lower back), and fatigue. Additionally, it's important to highlight that the people who need vitamin D the most aren't getting enough through their diet. This provides limited protection against deficiency.

👉 Vitamin D3 shots are the best solution - delivered intramuscularly, assuring direct entry into the bloodstream, and rapid absorption.

This technique guarantees the quickest and most effective supply of Vitamin D, maximizing its impact. Most people experience instant benefits, while others notice improvements as early as the following day! 💉🌞

If you find yourself suffering from Vitamin D3 deficiency, a D3 injection is the fastest solution to help with the following:
- Stronger Bones and Teeth
- Enhanced Immune Function
- Reduced Hypertension Risk
- Lowered Obesity-Related Risks
- Elevated Serotonin and Dopamine levels
- Reduced Risk of Parkinson's Disease, MS and Influenza A
- Reduced Risk of Bacterial Vaginosis and Pelvis Floor Disorders
- Protection Against Age-Related Macular Degeneration
- Improvement in Skin Conditions (ex: Vitiligo, Psoriasis)

Elevate your well-being with targeted solutions. Book a session with Dr. Ni Li for personalized vitamin B12 injections and D3 support!
