✨ Announcing the 2025 Indigenous Business Grant Recipient! ✨

We’re thrilled to congratulate Elissa Parker, founder of Authentically Rooted Wellness, as the recipient of our $20,000 nomz Indigenous Business Grant! 🌿

Elissa, a proud Cree woman from Piapot First Nation, is creating safe spaces for healing, resilience, and growth through culturally grounded, trauma-informed equine-assisted learning programs.

We’re also excited to recognize two inspiring runner-ups with memberships to the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB):

James Darin Corbiere, founder of Eastern Woodland Art

Each year, we offer this grant as a small gesture of gratitude to the Indigenous Peoples of Canada for sharing this land and for inspiring our beginnings through the community’s kindness, healing traditions, and connection to nature’s magic.

This year, one Indigenous-owned business in Canada will receive $20,000 to support growth, materials, marketing, start-up costs, or any other business expenses.

From our ingredients to our design, we like to keep things simple. Minimal ingredients that we proudly list on the front of our package: nuts, dates, cocoa, coconut oil, and sea salt – that’s it. We keep our packaging design minimal too, communicating only what’s needed. Nothing less, nothing more.
