🌟 Embrace your age! 🌟

When I was younger, I never saw women in their 40s and beyond working out and lifting weights. I thought that once you hit 40, it was all downhill.

But as I got older, I saw something different. I saw people in their 40s and beyond getting stronger and healthier. They showed me that age doesn't have to hold you back.

Now, as I am in my 40s, I realize that age is not a limitation. It's a chance to show that you can keep getting better, no matter how old you are.

So stop listening to stereotypes, pick up some dumbbells and show how strong you can be at any age.

The journey to being our best selves never stops, no matter how old we are!

I am not a huge fan of New Year's resolutions.

However, it seems like I need one for myself. 🤷🏾‍♀️

It took me some time to find a picture of myself where I was not in the gym. 😳🤣🤣

For 2024, I will be working on creating a balance and cherishing the smaller things in life.

Liking the red might repeat this hairstyle.🤔

Let's talk about why you should stretch!

As a busy professional giving your body that extra care and attention is key.

Incorporating stretching isn't just about flexibility; it's a crucial step in nurturing your body and mind as you embark on this journey to strength.

Meet Mo Akins

My name is Mo and my passion is fitness! When I was younger I was set on pursuing a career as a lawyer. Coming from an African background this was a respectable job and appropriate path for me. Or so I thought . . . Fast forward to today and my life long journey as an athlete made me realize that if I could make other people feel as amazing as I do, then that was my life's purpose! I followed my gut on that dream and I was not wrong! When I see the look on my client's faces when they realize their own true power, it fills my heart! Imagine this, a client comes to me at their wit's end because they have no energy, they miss the body they had years ago and they feel as though they've lost control. A few sessions together and I see that change in their face, that look when they realize they are way stronger than they ever imagined possible! This is the stuff that makes me smile, every single time! I love what I do and I am so happy that I followed my gut and my heart on this career choice. I'm excited to share inspiring stories with you here on Facebook and show you a few moves that you might like to try at home. It really is the perfect time to get in shape and feel your power! I'm happy to take you there!
