I’ve spoken about this on one of my podcast before: Most people book vacations instead of retreats, because we need a break but most vacations aren’t actually that relaxing!

I know for me, especially going with my kids, it is more of a relocation than a vacation. And most people find it difficult to shut things off even if you are by a pool for a full five days without any kids around.
In fact, many of my clients come home from a vacations more exhausted than when they left!

on the other hand, a retreat has a specific intention for its guests — it’s about you pausing your daily routine, taking the time to rest, the space to slow down, awakening your soul, connecting with other, and finding perspective.

let’s not forget, the beautiful location, accommodation, the nourishing food, the workshops and activities — centered around the shared goals of you and the other women attending.
