In his early childhood in Jamaica, Chris enjoyed playing sports like soccer, tennis, swimming and was always very active. He spent many days at a young age at the beach, enjoying watersports like snorkeling, sailing and water skiing. When he attended high school, he was part of the school swim team competing against other high schools in Jamaica. Onwards to International Fine Arts College in Miami, he came home on a summer break and was hired for a part time job in a gym in Montego Bay, Jamaica, This was his introduction to learning about weight training and where his passion for transforming the body began. After moving to Toronto he fell in love with the city's vibrancy and energy he made a lifestyle decision to become a full time Coach. His clients like his energy and training style. The diversity of him clients motivate him to keep learning and staying current fitness world. His clients love his dedication and interest in their success.

The harder I push to lift more weight the better her physique gets!

I see lots of people working out but not looking the way they want and it’s because they lack the ability to get more out of each repetition.

There are levels to this and until you are pushed past your comfort zone you are just not going to get maximum results.

She’s had ups and down ⬆️⬇️ but stayed committed🔒to the plan and is happy to not only have lost weight and inches📏but most importantly have improved health markers and 😃 better energy.

Working with clients we dig down to the root of their problem.

When someone tells me they will “try” to get something done.

It’s the same thing as them saying “I don't think I can do it”.

This mentality sets you up for failure by not believing that you can actually do it in the first place.

You’ll say things like:

“I will try to get all my workouts done”
“I should prep my meals for this week”
“I’ll try to be more active and do more cardio”

You have to make a decision on whether you can or can’t actually do it?

If you can, then you realize that you are just being lazy.

Now the conversation to yourself changes to...

“I CAN AND WILL GET IT DONE!”

You will start to believe in yourself more and commit to getting a lot more done and accomplished in your life.

Not only your health and fitness goals, but anything you want to achieve.

Something as simple as changing the words we use also changes the way we think.

Don’t sell yourself short, believe in yourself and you will achieve whatever you set your mind to!

My Story

Hi! I’m Chris Greg Brown.

I founded CGB Fitness because I have a passion for transforming ordinary people into everyday superheroes.

While my clients may not be able to fly, they can lift unbelievable weights, sprint like crazy, and power through demanding work days without missing a beat. And they look pretty amazing while they do it.

I combine a degree in fine arts, a love of bodybuilding, and a firm belief that fitness makes life better for everyone in order to sculpt beautiful bodies that look like well-respected art and run like well-oiled machinery.
