For those who don’t know , shes been on the other side of the screen running Athletic Coniditoning On Demand work outs every week for Fuel Online. (She’ll also be running some kettlebell lives this month while I’m away)

More than that, we joined Fuel as trainers around the same time & she’s been my Fuel partner every since!

It’s not often we get to be behind the same camera 🎥

BUT we are still out here crushing an hour of kettlebells with the dedicated souls at 7am every day.

It’s been a busy week! A change of routine is always a little exhausting but don’t forget to spend a little bit of time every day mobilizing & stretching.

I’ve been seeing an incredible athletic therapist for some aches and pains here & there the last few months. Unsurprisingly, often the reason those aches exist is because Im not stretching enough.

*this is not the case for all aches & pains. Sometimes it’s a lack of inactivity, but if you are as active as I am, it may be a lack of stretching*

TLDR: don’t skip your warm up 🤨

I use to be the person who would hop onto a treadmill for 10 mins as a “warm up” then go crush strength training.

Sure. It’s good to get your heart rate up a bit. But there’s a better way to PRIME your body.

These days, spending a minimum of 10 mins on my warm up routine that includes every joint & dynamic movements is crucial to my success.
