From addressing the primary care shortage to supporting chronic disease prevention, Ontario’s NDs are ready to be part of the solution — helping deliver accessible, team-based, and patient-centered care.

We’re sending a huge thank you to our Centennial Gala giveaway partners for their generosity and support of Ontario’s naturopathic doctors! 💛

Twelve ND attendees were randomly selected from among those who joined us at the Gala to receive complimentary diagnostic tests and CE courses - made possible thanks to these amazing partners.

A special thanks to In-Common Laboratories (ICL) for coordinating this incredible collaboration with their six contributing lab partners, and to NaturopathicAestheticsCE.com for providing CE course access to three additional winners.

✨ What an unforgettable night! ✨

The OAND Centennial Gala marked 100 years of regulated Naturopathic Medicine in Ontario — a celebration of our history, our people, and our bright future. 💫

The evening began with an inspiring fireside chat moderated by , featuring Dr. Nicole Redvers, ND, Dr. Michelle Acorn, CEO of NPAO, and Justin Bates, CEO of OPA — a dynamic conversation exploring innovation and collaboration in Ontario’s team-based care. 🌿

We were deeply honoured to receive acknowledgments from government leaders, including a letter from Premier Doug Ford, a video message from Minister Sylvia Jones, and powerful words from Dr. Karima Velji, ADM, reminding us that the future is bright for our profession. 💚

A special highlight of the night was the ceremonial presentation by Dr. Johanne McCarthy, demonstrating the sacred power of burning sage and abalone — a moving moment of reflection and unity — followed by a joyful birthday song in her honour. 🎶✨

Here’s to the next century of Naturopathic Medicine — with renewed hope, purpose, and partnership for a healthier Ontario. 🌟
