Glen Park Community Association Getting to know your neighbours is important. By voicing your concerns, Neighbourhood Watch was brought to our community.

By communicating and getting to know the people who live nearby, you can recognize strangers and know when something is unusual or suspicious. We hope the Glenpark Community Association will be a big hit with residents. By working with the community, police, and Crimes Prevention Association of Toronto (CPAT), we are already seeing improvements in crime reduction. It was a pleasure having Janet Sherbanowski, Executive Director of CPAT, donate her personal time to attend our event. With over 20 years of experience in crime prevention, she mentioned that we have a “lovely community, full of young vibrant families, interested adults and a great park in which to bring it all together.” She is now setting up meetings with our local councillor and will ensure we are invited to the local ward meetings. Janet has offered to bring forward a “Democracity Project” to Glen Park. The initiative has over 180 community associations with the objective to engage residents in the decisions being made about their local communities. With the “Democracity Project,” we will have the chance to develop and add projects that we believe should take place in the community. Whether it is a dog park, traffic calming, sidewalks, or street fairs, we will all be able to collectively vote on the initiatives for Glen Park.

Huge thanks to our wonderful volunteers, our generous sponsors and everyone who attended the Glen Park Halloween Street Party!

It was a joy to see the community coming together to have such fun.

This successful community event rounds off 2023 for the Glen Park Community Association. However, it won't be long before we start putting together plans for Summerfest 2024. If you are interested in becoming part of the planning committee, please contact us at glenparkcommunity44@gmail.com

Thanks to all of you who came out for the annual Glen Park movie under the stars. It's great that we can come together for fun community events.

Also a huge thank you to our sponsor of this event and Summerfest, The Victoria Sliwa Real Estate Team. Without sponsors and donations from the community, events like this wouldn't be possible.

Finally, thanks go to our hardworking team of volunteers. Those that help plan out these events and those that help out on the day... We couldn't do it without you!

The movie will begin at dusk (around 7.30pm)

Bring loonies and toonies! Candy, popcorn, drinks and glow in the dark wear will be available for sale. All proceeds raised will go towards future Glen Park Association events.
