Hi, I’m Alka, and that’s what I was thinking when I began my journey into the world of holistic therapy.
My grandmother was a gifted intuitive, who could make a person feel at ease just by holding their hand. I was inspired by her, and really wanted to do what she was doing to other people.
When she passed away eleven years ago, I made it my mission to reach out and help as many people as I could.
It was a rocky start, and I faced a lot of personal hurdles. That was until a nephew of mine half way across the world in Europe reached out and connected.
I could tell he was in a lot of pain, and that he hadn’t confided it to anybody. I didn’t want to frighten him, and saw it as an opportunity to change someone’s life, and so I simply kept up the conversation and sent him “positive vibes.”
When he finally confided in me, the situation was worse than I could ever imagine. He had contemplated su***de, felt abandoned by the people he loved most, and was having trouble finding the love that he so badly craved.
At the time, my abilities were still very rough, but I allowed my grandmother’s spirit to channel through and guide me. I said the right things at the right time, and through our connection, I even managed to see into his being and somehow dislodged the rocks that had been blocking him.
I didn’t know if it had worked or not, but when I called him again after a couple of months (he had exams and an internship), I could tell right from the offset that something had changed for the better.
And he confirmed it. He told me that he felt incredibly light, that he managed to get through his exams, and even performed better than he could ever have hoped for. He also managed to pluck up the courage to ask his crush to the university’s ball, where he had his first kiss.
He was over the moon, and I could feel his elation from across the miles, and it made me ecstatic.
And now, nine years later, I’ve connected with many more like my dear nephew (whom I’m still in touch with and do sessions for), and dislodged the rocks in their lives, too.
