The University of Toronto Faculty of Law's #2 sketch comedy revue show! The first Law Follies was performed in 1982, with David Shore as one of the hosts.

The annual Law Follies takes place every February and is an evening of satire and song written, directed, produced and performed entirely by law students, with cameo appearances by faculty and alumni. Students spend the year creating sketches, videos, and songs that poke fun at the trials and tribulations of law school. The show takes place at a major theater venue in Toronto, is attended by hundr

eds, and leads to an after-party that is inevitably one of the best pub nights of the year. Follies bring the community together by serving as an important opportunity to step back, de-stress, and laugh at ourselves when things can otherwise seem a little intense. Shore is now an Emmy-award winning writer, director and producer of hit TV shows, such as NYPD Blue and House MD, and received an honorary doctor of laws from U of T in 2009.

Stressed about exams? Us too! That's why we decided to give ourselves an event to plan in the second-last week of class. To blow off steam, consider joining Law Follies for its first annual 'You Don't Have To Be A Member' trivia lunch on Wednesday, November 27th!
