THIS is the smartest, most efficient anti-inflammatory exercise.
Perfect for busy, professional moms who don’t have time to mess around.
If done correctly, there are NO side effects.
Before I walk you through your 5 minutes, let me share why it works.
If you’re experiencing brain fog, pain, tension, digestion issues, you’re experiencing inflammation.
What exacerbates inflammation is being in survival mode , more commonly known as ‘fight or flight’.
So, any time your survival is being threatened, even subconsciously, you can have a flare-up.
Pressure at work, at home, eating something off, you flare up because your body is preparing for you to fight or run for your life.
This is where this powerful exercise comes into play.
You have to reassure your body that you are, in fact, safe and that there is no danger.⚠️
So here’s the 5 minute exercise broken down by the minute.
1 minute.
“In this moment, I am safe” Repeat this mantra slowly over and over for 1 minute. Focus on saying this out loud . The key is to do it slowly.
1 minute - take deep, long , slow breaths . Focus on inhaling and exhaling through your nose. 👃 Breathe in for 6 and exhale for 8 if you can.
1 minute - focus on listing what you are grateful for right now about yourself, your body and your life , in this moment.
1 minute - focus on an image of yourself in the past where you were happy, joyful and at peace.
1 minute - focus on an image of yourself in the future where you will be happy, joyful and at peace.
Bonus - bounce / shake for 1-2 minutes and slowly drink 1L of mineralized water.
That’s it.
It’ll feel like a super long 5 minutes but it will definitely make you feel better.
The key to this exercise is to be present the entire time. If you find your focus wandering to something other than the prompts I shared above, return to the present focus.
The only way you can do it wrong is to not do it at all, or give up when it hasn’t worked because you couldn’t focus the whole time.
Practice this as often as you can.
The more you do it, the better you get, and the better you’ll become.
Save this and share with a friend who’s in pain.
