You know you're deep in the spiritual trenches when you start hiding your Buddhas.
The doorbell rings.
It's a Normal Person.
You panic.
Not fight-or-flight, more like feng shui and flee.

Suddenly, you're seeing your house through Muggle eyes:
Crystals on the windowsill? Too late.
They're forming a grid around your talisman.

The guest chair? A throne to KwanYin.
That corner? Oh, just a casual altar to four deities and your Q4 intentions.

So what do you do?

Slam the office door like your spiritual awakening's grounded.
Shove palo santo under the couch like it's contraband.
Hide the singing bowls, god knows they've seen things.

Your inner Zen master is whispering,
"Be not ashamed. You are sacred space."

Meanwhile, you're loudly offering tea to distract them:
"Oh, look, chamomile! WITH CARDAMOM. Fancy, right?!"

Then the real strategy hits:
Take. Them. Outside.
"Isn't the light just lovely out here?"
(Please don't ask to go inside. My plants are chanting again.)

And when they leave, you breathe out.
You light a stick of incense to restore the vibe
(that was apparently so fragile a Muggle can fracture it).

You open the office door.
KwanYin nods.
All is forgiven.

Every time I surrender, the Universe hands me a flaming baton and says,
"Quick! Juggle your triggers!"

I ask for clarity.
I get cosmic riddles wrapped in tech glitches.

I light a candle.
My power goes out.

I tried to reframe it.
I really did.

But even my shadow's asking,
"Did someone put Mercury in the punch again?"

So yes, I trust the process.
I'm just keeping one eye open and a flask of whiskey, I mean, nervous system tea within reach.
