Reclaiming the innocence, wonder, and magic of our inner child...
As adults, we often forget that the little one within us still exists, still feels, and still needs our love, care, and compassion. We may have learned to hide, suppress, or deny their needs, but deep down, they’re still with us, waiting to be acknowledged and nurtured.
By reconnecting with our inner child, we can begin to heal old wounds, release shame and self-doubt, and reclaim our sense of curiosity, creativity, and joy. We can learn to reparent ourselves, offering kindness, understanding, and compassion to the parts of us that need it most.
So take a moment today to check in with your inner child. What do they need from you? What do they want you to know? Offer them a hug, a listening ear, or a reassuring word. Remind them that they’re safe, loved, and enough, just as they are.
