Firstly: Yes, I AM wearing shorts lol 😂
Secondly: i have never felt as strong as I do now, at 32 years old.
I remember going through high-school & university feeling insecure about myself (as a lot of us do). I was always very focused on loosing weight as opposed to muscle gain.
A lot of factors were at play that confused me into believing that looking at the scale was the only way to get “fit”. Plus so many poor nutritional decisions 🤦🏽‍♀️.
But hey! You live you learn you grow!
I’m truly happy I now know better.
It only gets better from here.

That extra 40 seconds is no joke.
I actually love that Ashley talks you through this cuz I considered quitting numerous times.
Just goes to show ya that it’s all in the mind.
You CAN do it. Your body IS capable.
YOU’VE 💯 got it!!

Cheers to the weekend! ☕️
My last weekend before I go back to teaching.
Taking 2 weeks off was the best.
I never take time off so this was very well deserved and needed.

Happy New Year Everyone! 🧡🐅
I took a bit of a social media break; it was very much needed with the current state of the world.
However, the work never stopped.
Just cuz it’s not posted doesn’t mean it’s not happening every.single.day! Whether it’s fitness, nutrition, yoga or meditation.

I’ve set some new goals for this year and I’m excited to get after them!
One of which is to back squat 100lbs.
(Currently at 90)
Have you been running this winter? I have!

Woke up so very sore in the most lovely way today 🥰
Decided it’s gonna be a run & ab workout kinda day.
It’s a tad windy but the sun makes it nice to be out!

Our first time carving pumpkins. 🎃
I’ve never in my life actually properly celebrated Halloween or carved a pumpkin so this was a fun experience for both of us.

We used a hand mixer to clean the insides out. Super quick and Jax is used to using it when helping me with baking so he loved it!

Yay to new traditions!
Seeing his excitement fills my heart with so much joy!

Protein French Toast 🍞💥
••••••••••
2 eggs
Pinch of salt
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 scoops Organika collagen protein
Sprinkle of nutmeg
2 tbsp maple syrup
••••••••••
I used white bread cuz carbs are friends and I ain’t scared but you’re welcome to use whatever bread you want!
I find that white or whole wheat soaks everything up the best. 💁🏻‍♀️
Dip the bread into your egg mixture and really make sure to soak it well.

Add a bit of avocado oil to a heated pan and fry on medium heat until golden brown 🤗
Feel free to top with berries of choice and maple syrup if you need a touch more sweetness in your life!
