At the beginning of 2019 I started writing something that happened every week on a slip of paper. By the end I had 52 pieces of paper with memorable moments of the year and I just read them! Some ot them I remembered while others I completely forgot about! I love the year I had and I am so glad I wrote down some meaningful moments to remind myself what an amazing year of growth and love 2019 consisted of. I will definitely be doing this again and I encourage you to do the same! @ Tottenham, Ontario

Gratitude is very imortant to me. Thinking of something to be thankful for everyday no matter how the day was always helps my mood. I can go from super down to almost back to myself just from thinking of something to be thankful for. This picture is a jar I have been using the whole year of 2019. Every Saturday night or Sunday morning I write something that happened that week on a piece of paper. New years eve I plan on opening the jar and reading everything that stuck out to me that happened each week this year. I did write down some not so happy moments like when my dog died but that moment brought her peace and got rid of my puppy's pain. That was a really sad time but she is so much better now which is something I am grateful for. What are something you are grateful for that happened this week? I want to know your gratitudes 😊

This chapter really changed me. Imagining everyone is enlightened except you. This chapter is from the book "Dont sweat the small stuff" and talks about how instead of being frustrated at people from what they do, think about what they are trying to teach you. I have been applying this to my daily life and it really helps! I used to get frustrated and stressed by others actions but now when I stop and think what they are teaching me I relax and their actions no longer bother me. I challenge you to try this advice. Figure out what someone is trying to teach you when you are bothered by their actions. It can be fun to try to apply a teaching to things that bother you. I hope you find relief from this like I did.

Missing my snuggles with coco pup on this cold day. Been having a rough time with grief lately so not much to post about today other than make sure you take care of yourself when experiencing strong emotions. I've been taking sometime for myself and limiting my technology use until I feel more social. My days consist of journaling, being active, tackling my to do list for school and rest. What kind of things do you do when you need to reset and rest?

These are parents. I decided to post about them this Friday because I am missing them and they are coming to visit me soon. I am so grateful to have them as my support system. I have seen such a change in their support lately and I could not be more thankful. Dad (though he may have done it first) has started reading personal development books and encouraging me to stay active. Mom engages in activities that I use to help me with anxiety and does them with me. I love that no matter what I can go to them and, as they have stated many times, I can never disappoint them. Disappointing them was always my biggest fear but now through their continued support I am slowly getting over this. They are my parents, they love me no matter what ,therefore I could never disappoint them. I love them so much and I would not be where I am or the person I am without them. ❤

Do not fear.
This sentence is said in many ways throughout the Bible. This verse is from Matthew 6:34, saying do not worry about what is going to be tomorrow instead focus on today. God is telling us to not fear the future. This brings comfort to me and what made me decided to live fearless. I live my life in fear of what is going to happen in the future that can possibly hurt me or upset me. God already knows what is going to happen to me and yet He is still telling me that I have nothing to fear. He knows that I am capable of overcoming whatever hurts me or upsets me and therefore I do not need to worry about the future. Instead I should be fully living in the now.

Not everyone believes in God and that is okay! Just replace God with what you believe in, like the universe. The universe knows how your life is going to turn out and knows that you are more than able to deal with whatever is thrown at you. No need to fear it!

It takes a lot of practice to get to fearless and I am still practicing! Once we fully realize that we are able to get through all the challenges we may be faced with we can live fearless!
