Muscle stripping is a technique using deep pressure of thumbs, elbows or forearms to seperate muscle fibers. It is used for the following:

☆restoring normal muscle fiber length when tight and shortened. This will increase your range of motion.
☆Identifying trigger points. Eliminating TP will realign fibers so muscles are no longer "knotted" up ensuring proper circulation.
☆Promotes local circulation. Which is needed for blood flow and getting nutrition/oxygen to your muscles
☆Used on bodybuilders during a prep to sculpt and define muscles.

I highly recommend this treatment for anyone trying to build size in their quads. Growth can be seriously limited if Quads have shortened muscle fibers and/or has trigger points.

Reach out if you have any questions or BOOK NOW to set up your sessions.

Training injuries can lead to scar tissue build up and trigger points (knots) in your muscle tissue. This restricts muscle function, range of motion, increasing muscle imbalances and preventing muscle growth.

☆Graston technique or simply put...Scraping... is an evidence-based form of "instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization" (IASTM) that allows for precise detection and treatment of fascial restrictions as well as muscle dysfunction. Scraping uses stainless steel instruments to scrape and rub problem areas of connective tissue. In turn, this helps fix adhesions, scar tissue build up in the muscles.

☆After an injury, muscles can repair themselves in a haphazard way, forming scar tissue and trigger points if the injury is not addressed in a timely fashion. While scar tissue is not painful it can limit range of motion, and cause stiffness which may contribute to chronic pain.

☆Scraping is another great recovery therapy you can incorporate into your training. Scraping can definitely improve range of motion and mobility by reducing scar tissue formation through inflammation initiating the healing process. I would recommend using Scraping in combination with Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Stripping and Deep Tissue Massage.
