One of the most powerful gifts you can give yourself after learning Reiki is to actually use it - daily, if possible.
But let’s be real: between work, family, and just trying to stay afloat some days, it’s easy to forget or fall out of the habit. Trust me, I've been there too 🙈
Here are five gentle tips to help you weave self-Reiki into your daily rhythm in a way that feels supportive, not stressful:
💗 1. Keep it simple. You don’t need an elaborate setup or an hour of uninterrupted time. Even 5–10 minutes in bed with your hands on your heart and belly is enough to reconnect to your energy and set the tone for your day.
💗 2. Make it part of something you already do.Stack Reiki onto an existing habit - like placing your hands on your body while drinking your morning tea, listening to a meditation, or lying in bed before sleep. Little rituals build big momentum.
💗 3. Create a sacred space (even a tiny one). Have a cozy corner with a blanket, candle, or crystal where you do your self-Reiki. Your body and energy will begin to associate that space with calm, grounding, and healing.
💗 4. Don’t wait for the “perfect” time. There’s no such thing. Some days it might be a quiet, soul-nourishing session. Other days it might be hands-on in the car before picking up the kids. All of it counts. Reiki meets you where you are.
💗 5. Let it be an act of love, not obligation. Approach your practice with curiosity, compassion, and softness. You’re not doing it “wrong” if you miss a day. The intention to connect is what matters most.
Reiki isn’t just something you do - it’s something you become. The more you return to it, the more it becomes a natural extension of your everyday life.
Which of these tips feels most doable for you right now? I’d love to hear 🥰
