Another revelation from my friend after reading my book, Restorying your story: Hey Dr. Mike. 😜. I just finished your book.
I really enjoyed your book. Thank you for opening up your life and sharing your experiences and then using your success to support and help others from your community. As a white male born I. The mid seventies, I did not have the privilege of learning very much about indigenous life in Canada. We were not taught about residential schools or even the Indian act. I had no real experience with indigenous peoples until I attended Laurentian University and even then it was little. If we were actually taught our true history, we may have developed a more caring understanding of the plight of our indigenous communities.
I am glad to have been introduced to you and become friends.
