In your prenatal visits we go over breathing to prep you for labour.

Breathing through contractions is a great way to ease pain and remain focused.

Our natural instinct can be to hold our breath or hyperventilate during pain/contractions.

Try using The “destresser” breath.

- Hand on belly/lower ribs, feel the “belly” filling with air
- slow and deep breaths in... counting 2-3-4
- Exhale being long... counting 2-3-4-5-6
- Breathing right ‘down to your baby’ giving your uterus and baby enough oxygen while they are working hard.
- Riding the waves/or filling a balloon (visualization)

Suze is practising her breathing at 33 weeks pregnant ♥️

At least 14 percent of all new mothers report having postpartum depression in the first year after childbirth, but most do not talk about it or get help.

Please reach out for help because postpartum depression is treatable. When you feel better, your baby and your family will benefit too! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

I am excited to announce that I will be starting my Doula journey full force!
I have always been passionate about everything birth and envisioned myself one day here, doing this!

After getting married, I spent many years working in the natural health industry. During this time, I gave birth to my two beautiful daughters. I decided to then leave work to raise my little family. It was the best decision of my life. We enjoyed nature, we grew veggies and took things slow... taking in all of those special little moments. Through my journey, I have learned my purpose in life is helping others to have a positive birth and postpartum experience.

I love being able to give new and current mothers back their voice in their birth “plan”!

After experiencing mild and hard postpartum days myself, with both of my daughters. I know the importance of normalizing postpartum care for families. After all, this is one of the biggest things you will ever go through! I am here for your mental health from pregnancy to birth to postpartum.
