As a nutritionist and wellness seeker, I hope to educate, inspire, challenge and motivate you to live the healthiest and happiest life possible. I’m Artemis - not the immortal deity with long, flowing hair and perfectly shaped hips who turned mortal men to stone... the other one. I’m the Registered Holistic Nutritionist from Ontario, Canada who strives to live as healthy a life as possible everyday. I have struggles and vices in life like everyone else. I drink beer. I swear. Sure, genes play a role, but they're only responsible for a measly 20% of how long you'll be around. The rest? Well, that's up to you and your fabulous lifestyle. From what you eat to where you live, how active you are, and the connections you make, it all adds up to living your best life. The people we choose to surround ourselves with have a significant impact on our behaviors, mood, and relationships with ourselves and others. It's time to be courageous and observe how our lives change when we're in the presence of those who lack respect, belittle others, spread negativity, and are deceitful. Recognize how this affects your energy and enthusiasm for life, and strive to live authentically as your best self every single day. Take a stand, devise a plan, and graciously remove these individuals from your circle of influence. If complete removal isn't possible, minimize your time with them and create an invisible shield when you're around them. Resist the temptation to engage, change them, or become entangled in their drama. Dedicate only the necessary time, keeping it brief. Remember, we often hold onto people because we fear what might happen if we let them go. Will they dislike us? Will we end up alone? Embrace the uncertainty, for the pain of the present reality is far worse. You deserve better, and enough is enough. This is your year to be brave and pursue the fulfilling, successful life you truly desire.

As great as we can make ourselves look on the outside, unless it starts from the inside, it won’t do us much good. Our physical well-being is rooted in good self care, which involves nourishing our bodies with proper nutrition, engaging in regular exercise, seeking fresh air, and ensuring we get enough restful sleep. By taking care of ourselves in these ways, we not only feel good but also minimize our chances of facing medical issues.
When it comes to our mental well-being, practicing positive self-care is equally vital. It's important that we dedicate time to heal from past traumas and damage, as this enables us to keep our minds focused on the positive aspects of life. Although it can be challenging to care for our inner selves, I have personally experienced great benefits by letting go of inner judgment and choosing to speak kind words to myself. These simple acts have truly helped me grow strong and healthy from within. I want you to know that you are greatly loved and that your life has purpose!
As Maya Angelou beautifully said, "When I know better, I do better." Remember, you have the power to make positive changes and nurture your inner goddess.

Eating healthy can feel like a challenge. Many people don't enjoy cooking or feel they lack the skills. Others find it too time-consuming or expensive, especially for families. However, what you eat and drink is one of the most important decisions you make every day. The foods you choose either build up your health or slowly tear it down. Eventually, poor nutrition will take its toll and you'll experience health problems that seem to come out of nowhere. But you can take control of your health. Before you eat something, ask yourself, "Will this energize me or drain me?"Choose foods that provide energy, sharpen focus, and support overall wellness.
