I might get some hate for this 😅 but I’m going to say it anyway! Because if it helps even one woman who’s trying to do her best to get pregnant or during pregnancy, then it’s worth it.

And if you’re taking Materna or another basic prenatal, please don’t feel bad - you’re doing what you can with the information and resources you have.

My goal is never to judge, only to help you feel more supported and empowered with your choices 💛

Having a child with food allergies has made me more alert, more careful, and sometimes more anxious than I expected tbh.

It’s not easy, but all I know is that it comes from love!

I’m sharing this as a little ‘glimpse’ into what many of us go through. Not to complain, but just to be real 🤍

You’re not alone. So many women feel this shift, but it often gets dismissed, minimized or ignored.
Pregnancy, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, sleep deprivation, mental load... it all impacts your body.

And yet, we’re told to just ‘bounce back’ and to push through. To give even more (when we’re already running on empty).

It took me a while to realize I couldn’t just keep pushing through.
To actually stop and pay attention to my body, my energy, my symptoms… and give them the care they were asking for.
Once I did, things started to shift.
It wasn’t instant, and it definitely wasn’t easy! but it was so worth it.
But honestly, it’s been a beautiful ride. One that keeps teaching me SO much!

You deserve care too. You deserve support that sees you, not just as a mom, but as a whole woman.

This Mother’s Day, I’m offering 15% off my nutrition sessions for moms and future moms.
Whether you’re trying to conceive, already pregnant, or somewhere in the postpartum chaos... this is for you.

No pressure. No perfection. Just real support to help you feel good in your body again. Let this be your moment to come back to yourself 🙏🏻

weight loss is not just a math equation.
If it were, we wouldn’t see so many women exhausted, inflamed, and gaining weight while eating less than they need.

Your metabolism is not a calculator.
It’s influenced by digestion, hormones, gut health, inflammation, stress, sleep, and so much more.

Counting calories might look ‘disciplined’ on paper..
But in real life: it often backfires.
You end up bloated, craving sugar, constantly hungry, and disconnected from your body’s natural signals.

So no… I don’t recommend calorie counting.
I recommend learning how to nourish your body and support the systems that actually drive sustainable fat loss.

I know how frustrating it can be to deal with bloating, acne, or mystery symptoms and feel like you’re getting nowhere. So it makes sense that food sensitivity tests seem like an easy way to find answers. But… are they really helpful?

I get this question a lot: ‘Should I take a food sensitivity test to figure out what’s causing my symptoms?’ And my honest answer? Probably not.

Why?

➡️ Most food sensitivity tests measure IgG antibodies, which simply show what foods your immune system has been exposed to, not necessarily what’s causing a problem. This means a long list of ‘reactive’ foods might just be foods you eat often!

➡️ Cutting out too many foods unnecessarily can actually weaken your gut over time and make it more sensitive.

➡️ The real root cause of food reactions is often gut imbalances, inflammation, or stress… not just the food itself.

Instead of relying on these tests, I focus on supporting digestion, balancing the gut, and identifying real triggers in a way that keeps food freedom in mind. Because food isn’t the enemy! your body just needs the right support.

Have you ever taken a food sensitivity test? What was your experience? Feel free to DM me 🤍

Many women struggle with dairy but aren’t sure if it’s lactose intolerance or a reaction to dairy itself (casein or whey). To break it down, remember:

Lactose Intolerance = sugar Issue (less common)

➡️ Your body doesn’t produce enough lactase, the enzyme needed to break down lactose (milk sugar).
➡️ Symptoms are mostly digestive: bloating, gas, diarrhea, nausea.
➡️ Some tolerate hard cheeses, butter, or lactose-free dairy better since they have less lactose.

Dairy Sensitivity = protein Issue (way more common)

➡️ You react to casein or whey, the proteins in dairy, not the sugar.
➡️ Symptoms go beyond digestion: not only digestive symptoms, but also acne, fatigue, joint pain, congestion, headaches.
➡️ Even lactose-free dairy can trigger symptoms on you.

Was this helpful? 😊 Like it or save it for future reference when you’re unsure about dairy!

Sometimes all we need is nourishing food and something comforting for the soul (it’s the brazilian cheese bread for me ☺️), the warmth of the sun and a peaceful walk, listening to the birds, smelling spring in the air, and having a good conversation with a friend. Grateful for these simple moments of joy 🤍

I recently shared in my stories and I’ve got a few questions about it. These are two supplements I give my daughter to support her skin health (she has eczema) and strengthen her immune system (she has allergies). They help build tolerance, keep her gut healthy, and overall make a big difference.

Her skin has improved so much, and she’s getting sick less often (knock on wood!).

- Vitamin D3 from
- Omega 3 from

If your child struggles with eczema, allergies, or a weak immune system, I’m happy to share what’s been working for us, DM me! :)

I’ve been noticing a lot of food fear in my practice lately, and trust me, I completely understand!! it’s something I’ve experienced in the past as well.

In my work, I’ve embraced a ‘non-diet’ approach for quite some time, and I’m very mindful when suggesting that someone reduce or avoid certain foods for a short period of time, especially when I sense that food fear might be at play. There’s often a way to navigate these challenges, and that’s exactly what I’m here to help with 💫

For those with allergies, there might be solutions too. I’m grateful that today we have so many great alternatives for milk, dairy, and eggs 🙏🏻 My daughter currently can’t have any of those, but we’re managing well while preparing to start a desensitization program.

The main thing I want to share is this: try not to fall into the trap of labeling gluten and dairy as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. Not only is that unhelpful (because they aren’t inherently good or bad), but it can also take a toll on your mental health. Let’s approach food with balance and compassion 🫶🏻
