Body Contouring/Skin Tightening

Utilizing a unique combination of three proven technologies – resonant ultrasound, interferential therapy and vacuum massage – it is a safe and effective solution for targeted circumference reduction in common problem areas, such as the abdomen, love handles/flanks, buttocks/thighs and upper arms. Along with body contouring, the skin tightening treatments can also treat stretch marks and lax skin on various areas of the body, such as after pregnancy, weight loss and liposuction.
How does Body Contouring work?
RF energy is released into the subcutaneous layers to heat the skin tissues that contribute to cellulite. This deep tissue heating increases the metabolic breakdown of fat cells (or adipocytes) in the superficial fat layer and increases the diffusion of oxygen in the cells. The treatment releases unwanted lipids and triglycerides from unwanted fat cells, which in turn shrinks the fat cells. These are then removed by the body's natural process of fat elimination. Following a series of treatments, patients will enjoy a natural, slimmer look.
There are 3 innovative technologies that can be combined together to get better results:
Ultrasound: creates a vibration effect that induces the release of undesired lipids and triglycerides from fat cells.
Interferential Therapy: electric current fields increase cell’s permeability, thus allowing those lipids and triglycerides to escape from the fat cells. Once outside the cell, they are readily available for the body to convert to energy.
Vacuum Therapy: increases blood flow in the treated area, thus encouraging the transport of lipids and triglycerides into the blood stream. Once in the blood stream, lipids and triglycerides are transported to the liver, where they become available for use as energy.
Should I be active after treatments?
The lipids and triglycerides that are released during the treatment are available to be used as energy for 48 hours post-treatment. Thus, it is advised that patients make a conscious effort to be physically active during that period for optimal results.
How many treatments will I need?
The procedure is based on a series of 8 to 10 treatments at a minimum 2-day interval. Patients respond differently to Bella Contour, so treatments are personalized to individual patients to achieve their aesthetic goals.
How long does a treatment session last?
Each session lasts 30 minutes per area which includes preparation and the treatment itself.
What does the treatment feel like?
Patients experience a warm, massage-like sensation and a pain free procedure.
After how many sessions will I see results?
Typically, patients notice results after the first session. Results vary from person to person.
Is this considered a weight loss program?
Alone, it is not meant as a weight loss program. It will help you achieve better body contouring results when combined with diet and exercise.
