For anyone navigating trauma and can’t afford therapy, I highly recommend The Body Keeps the Score. This book will show you that you are not alone and better help you understand yourself. ♥️

While it’s written more for clinicians and can be triggering at times due to the cases it shares, it’s an incredibly powerful read.

I’ve gone through it multiple times to deepen my understanding as a therapist, it really explores the mind-body-soul connection in such an intimate way. 📖✨

Read with caution but this book has the power to teach, challenge, and heal.

Sometimes ‘kindness’ is just a mask for control. Empaths, notice when love feels heavy, not safe. Learn your boundaries. ♥️✨

Vulnerability isn’t oversharing.

It’s letting yourself be seen without armoring up or self-abandoning.

It takes courage to soften in a world that taught you to protect.
To speak from the heart without shrinking, performing, or proving.

Vulnerability doesn’t mean you owe access to everyone, just trusted and selected few.
It means you’re honest with yourself first, then others.

And when it’s shared in the right spaces, with the right people, it becomes a bridge, not a wound.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is not just about remembering history, it’s about recognizing how present his words still are.

Many of Dr. King’s quotes remain painfully relevant because the conditions he spoke against still exist in different forms today.

Silence, injustice, and inequality did not disappear with time, they simply learned a new language.

His words continue to challenge us, not to just admire them, but to live them.

Today is not just remembrance, it’s a global responsibility.

Sometimes what looks like healthy boundaries is actually fear in disguise. Not because someone is manipulative or unhealed, but because closeness once felt unsafe.

It’s okay to take time away to process your emotions. However, if you find yourself unable to communicate directly with your loved ones about what is on your heart, and stepping away becomes a pattern of avoidance, it can quietly create distance and disconnection.

Healthy dynamics create connection with safety. Protective dynamics create distance with justification. There’s no blame here, just an invitation to notice.

Fear doesn’t mean you’re broken.
It means something once hurt and learned to stay guarded.

Betrayal can have a devastating impact on the human psyche. It changes many people and their worldly views of connections and life. Healing isn’t about bypassing pain or forcing positivity.

Real healing doesn’t happen by rushing past those emotions or “being strong.” It happens when there’s space to actually feel what was never safe to feel before.

Responsibility in healing isn’t about blame, or being strong enough no matter what.
It’s about reclaiming your voice, sometimes a shift in perspective, deciding that your pain deserves care, attention, and honesty rather than always being stoic.

When underlying emotions are ignored, they don’t disappear; they find other ways to surface.

Healing asks for presence, not perfection.
Permission to feel all emotions and then finding strength to heal from the pain was inflicted upon you.

And that’s where real change and responsibility begins.

🚩Therapy red flags aren’t always loud.
Sometimes they’re subtle.

🚩When therapy becomes an echo chamber instead of a place for expansion.

🚩If you’re consistently being validated without being gently challenged…
🚩If every session feels agreeable but nothing is actually shifting…
🚩If your therapist avoids naming patterns because it might feel uncomfortable…
🚩That’s not trauma-informed care, that’s stagnation disguised as safety.

✅Good therapy doesn’t take your power or replace your inner voice. It helps you hear it more clearly.

✅Remember:
* Credentials matter, but genuine presence
* A therapist is not the expert of your life you are
* Growth happens when safety and accountability coexist

✅You’re allowed to ask questions.
✅You’re allowed to notice when something feels off.

✅And you’re allowed to choose a therapist who supports your healing, not their own comfort or ego.

So often, people don’t share their real feelings with the people closest to them, friends, partners, or family because somewhere along the way, a younger part of them learned that emotions weren’t safe.

That inner child learned to smile, joke, or hold back to protect themselves, and those habits can stick for years. Inner child healing is about re-parenting that part of yourself, teaching it it’s safe to be seen and heard.

It’s not about oversharing or forcing vulnerability. It’s about slowly creating trust with yourself and others, so that when you do choose to open up, it comes from a place of safety. Even with the people you love most. 💛

Sometimes the reset isn’t doing more. Sometimes it learning to just be and listening deeper from within.

This solo trip reminded me that solitude can be medicine
where I reconnected with my inner child and finally allowed myself to play, once I let go of the constant to-do list.

Stepping into the new year gently,
wishing everyone ease and happiness. ✨

This poem is a deeply personal reflection, written in honour of a family member and past clients who struggled with overwhelming pain and attempted to end their lives. It speaks to their despair, the search for peace, and the hope for a love that transcends this world.

Let these words be a reminder to approach one another with compassion and understanding—because even in the darkest moments, connection can be a lifeline.

🌿✨ Unlocking the Hidden Worlds Within ✨🌿

Plant medicine has a way of opening doors we didn’t even know existed—doors to the subconscious mind, spiritual awakening, and worlds beyond the ordinary. It’s a journey into the depths of the soul, and a deeper connection to self and the universe unfolds. 🌌💫

Through this sacred process, I discovered healing and a profound understanding of the unseen realms that shape our lives.
