🧡Do you work so hard at your job, you can’t afford the time or energy to forage natures food for yourself? Have no fear, I am here to help! 🧡Salmon Berries or otherwise know as Rubus spectabilis a delicious berry related to the raspberry. Sweet juicy and 3X MORE vitamin C than an orange! They are medicinal berries, a staple food for Coast Salish and Indigenous peoples. 🧡15$ a container🧡Hand picked from the woods of Port Renfrew, BC🧡I am also open to trade for beef, elk, pork, fish, or various items for trade & barter. I also can be of hire to forage any other types of berries, plants, fungi or lichen for your medicinal needs.

Who can’t wait for or Pine Szn?! 😮💥

Also, why am I such a bad poster.. guys.. I swear I have thousands of pictures of mushrooms and yet I can’t seem to get them out of my camera roll? 🫨 (I must stay motivated)

Anyways, these snap shots are from Nov. 4th, 2023 and the background is blurred for my protection.

Asian and oriental people will come to places like Vancouver Island and pay $$$$ extortionate amounts of money, just to find a A1 button of these beauties.

So, would you ever be interested a Matsutake Pine Mushroom Tour? Let me know down below 👇

Be sure to like, drop and comment, and follow for more backlog posts? 🤪😂

For anyone following this one. Here's the data. G. tsugae grows on Vancouver Island. At this point I wonder if people are lying to me that I am wrong, just to get my reaction....

We have new maps on E-Flora. To learn how to turn layers on and off, go to our page on Adding layers to the map. To learn how to explore the map, and what the icons on the left side of the screen do, go to our page on Map navigation page. To learn more about the maps in general--data sources, etc.--...

Always good to beware of

Have you seen either of these beautiful wildflowers popping up around you?

These two common yard herbs pop up *all over the place* in early spring.

I look forward to foraging (one of) them every year!

In my opinion, they are one of the best places to start learning plant identification, because while at first glance they can look extremely similar, with the right distinguishing details, you’ll be able to tell them apart in no time!

In these photos, I’ve highlighted the most important details for distinguishing them! (Which is important because while I LOVE deadnettle tea, I think henbit tea is mediocre 😅)

Feel free to share it with a friend!

P.S. As many of you discovered, yes the secret flour I was showing was indeed kudzu (Pueraria montata). I *just* dropped my half-hour treatise video on how to forage for it on my YT channel if you’re interested in checking it out!

P.P.S Less than a month to go until the **Southeast Forager’s Conference** in Alabama! If you’re in the area, I’d love to see you there. We’re almost certainly going to be finding lots of these two herbs. It would be fun to gather a bunch and make tea together! 😄 (Comment " " or DM me "conference" and I'll send you all the details)

Okay, let’s see how this post goes:

I am writing a section in my blog about Ganoderma (Reishi or Ling chih)
I have veiwed case studies online of people sharing stories of how they healed themselves or someone else, or an animal of cancer. There was 1 comment in particular about a women who healed her husbands cancer. Another about someone’s dog. Forgive me universe I should have written them down when I came across them! I can’t remember what platform is was but I’m pretty sure it was Facebook.
So here I ask the internet, do you have any stories of healing Cancer with Reishi, or lowering levels? Please feel free to private message me or comment down below. Let’s get the discussion going! 🍄‍🟫❤️

We've all heard of the saying 'farm to table'. Well, I just made up a new term called Forest to Table! 🌲🥳 Who needs a farm anyways?

Go you!!! 🥰💐🌲

So many birds in my yard this winter. None seen at any of the neighbors.
