We hope you are enjoying the long weekend so far. We love all things fall at Flourish - cool tempreatures, warm sweaters and of course, pumpkin pie!

September and October are such busy months as we all get back into school and work routines. The long weekend always seems to arrive at the perfect time.

We feel grateful for special time with our closest family and friends this weekend and want to wish you the same ❤️🍂🍁🥧🍁🍂❤️

Summer is here and we’re SO ready for family fun in and around our neighbourhood, The Beaches! This is such a fun time of year to explore the city with your family and we wanted to share a few fun activities that our team loves for you to enjoy nearby:

☀️ Hit the beach! Toronto is home to several fun beaches where you can spend time with the family. Load up on the sunscreen, pack some snacks and bring fun activities along to one of our local beaches, like Woodbine Park, Kew-Balmy Beach + Silver Birch Beach.
☀️ Get out on the water and try stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking! This is a fun activity that you can try together and there are several companies that offer lessons and rentals, like Paddle Pirates.
☀️ We love the playground at Purple Park at the bottom of Silver Birch Avenue. It overlooks the water and has different equipment to suit kids of all different ages. A nice spot for a picnic as well!

☀️ Nature walks are always a fun way to do a little exploring and learning with the kids. Stop by a beautiful outdoor spot like Glen Stewart Ravine or Evergreen Brickworks and keep an eye out for special plants and animals!
☀️ Feel the music at the Beaches International Jazz Festival throughout the month of July! Visit their website to learn about all of the fun events and acts you can discover in the area next month.

As the school year starts to come to a close, now is a great time to think about if your child needs a boost over the summer. We are offering all of our services - occupational therapy, academics, psychological services, social work and speech therapy over the summer. Our clinicians and therapists are ready to support your child and family taking a personalized and holistic approach.
