May is Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Awareness Month, and it’s not too late to register for an MS Walk!
Sunday, May 26 is the MS Walk, where Canadians come together to show that nobody living with MS is alone.
MS attacks myelin, the protective coating on nerves, and over time may cause extreme fatigue, lack of coordination, weakness, tingling, impaired sensation, vision problems, bladder problems, cognitive impairment, and mood changes. It’s considered an episodic disability, which means the duration and severity of these symptoms can vary.
You can find a walk near you at the MS Walk website as well as more information MS Canada. Together, we can build a world free of multiple sclerosis.
