5 reasons to get a massage

Increased stress levels; regular massage can help decrease and manage stress levels. Massage has been shown to reduce cortisol levels, a hormone that is released when we become stressed.
2. Frequent headaches; massage can help alleviate headaches through reducing muscle tension and trigger point frequency in your neck and shoulder region.
Muscle tension; massage techniques can help reduce / alleviate muscle tension and tightness. It can also help improve flexibility and range of motion of muscles.
Decreased sleep quality / insomnia; through lowered stress massage can help improve sleep quality.
Overuse / repetitive strain injuries; massage improves circulation helping our muscles heal faster. It also can reduce tension, scar tissue, and fascial restrictions allowing our body to feel and function better.

Exciting news! A few Saturdays a month you can now also find me at The Cabin Spa, in golden lake! To those who have already booked with me, thank you and I look forward to meeting you all.

Hello everyone.

We are thrilled to welcome and share with you all, our new RMT, Madelyn.

Madelyn is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Durham College in 2021 with honours. She is skilled in many facets of massage, such as deep tissue, manual lymphatic drainage, and rehabilitation based massage.

She is deeply passionate about helping her clients achieve their health and wellness goals through her massage therapy services. She will be available every other Saturday for now. Thank you!
