So, what are emotions and why do they matter so much? Emotions are created from our thoughts, perceptions, and feelings. Emotions are energy in motion. The science of quantum physics now explains how not only us, but the entirety of the world is vibrational energy.
Have you ever met someone you instantly like them or you don’t? (good vibes, bad vibes). Have you just had a feeling something bad was going to happen and it did? That is because we are all vibrational energy beings giving off waves of energy. Every single atom in your body is vibrating.
We our continuously moving and releasing energies. A few examples: when we are sad, we cry, when we are mad, we may yell, when we are happy, we dance and sing, when we feel blessed, we are peaceful.
Think about how the sound of a certain note can shatter a glass…now if a sound (a vibration can do that, what do our strong emotions do to us? What happens when those strong emotions get stuck?
Sadly because of cultural and family influences so many of us were taught not to express or even deny these emotions. Maybe you were brought up with some of the following beliefs: good girls don’t get angry, boys are not allowed to cry, girls must be nice and boys tough. Maybe you were not allowed to express any of your emotions. Maybe you were taught to not listen to your body with statements like: “you shouldn’t feel that way”, “don’t be so stupid” “no one cares what you think” “children are to be seen and not heard” “just get over it” “pull up your bootstraps”
Now, if you are like such a great number of the people in the world you have also experienced trauma in your life. If you were not given the support or had the capabilities to process your emotions, they become a physical ball of energy trapped in the body. This is where all disease starts.
(dis ease) The trapped emotions can cause everything from mental, physical or spiritual issues.
The good news is that you do not have to spend years on psychologist couch sharing and dragging up painful memories, or taking medications loaded with side effects. There are many different approaches now in dealing with these energies. My personal favorite is Emotion Code. This is a simple process of finding trapped emotions through a series of questions and using muscle testing and energy work to release them.
