Some days, balance feels like a myth.
You’re juggling work, motherhood, self-care (if that even fits in anymore), and trying to hold it all together while your body and soul feel worn down in ways you can’t quite explain. And it all feels so damn heavy. Like you’re walking a tightrope with no net. Like one stubbed toe, one forgotten lunchbox, one drop of spilled milk might just be the thing that makes it all unravel.
There are thoughts we don’t say out loud because they feel too dark, too raw, too ungrateful. But they live in us. Thoughts like “I don’t know how much longer I can keep this up,” or “I don’t know who I even am anymore.” or “I can’t do this!”
You cry silently in the car after school drop-off. You fake a smile when someone says, “You’re doing amazing.” You feel like you’re in a pressure cooker…tight, tense, on the verge of exploding.
But somehow, in the mess and madness, we keep showing up.
We find ourselves in the smallest moments:
The way the sunlight sneaks through the window and warms your cheek.
The sweet giggle of your child over something simple.
The smell of coffee and the way the mug feels in your hands.
Tiny miracles that whisper, “You’re still here. You’re still doing it.”
Because we are the glue. The thread holding this whole beautifully chaotic life together.
And yes, sometimes that thread is fraying. But it’s still holding.
So here’s to the women who feel like they’re barely holding on.
Who carry the weight of everything and still find the strength to get through another day.
The world needs you.
You need you.
And you’re doing better than you think.
