I’m excited to share that registration is now open for my Mindfulness-Based Symptom Management (MBSM) program, beginning January 15.
MBSM is an evidence-based 8-week online program designed for anyone living with chronic symptoms — pain, fatigue, anxiety, sleep difficulties, or other long-term health conditions.

We practice mindfulness together each week, explore the challenges of integrating it into daily life, and learn how the nervous system responds to symptoms. A half-day retreat is included.

If you’re interested or want to explore whether it’s a good fit, reach out to me at 613-715-3550 or by message.

Addressing Sleep

Sleep should occupy a lot of our day. However, for many people it is hard to get adequate sleep. As an OT, I work to help people address difficulties with whatever occupies their time (or should). Sleep is often the first issue that I address.

This spring, I will be offering a course in Ottawa for women in their 40s or beyond who are struggling with sleep. Stay tuned for more details.

In February 2020, I am offering a webinar for other occupational therapists who want to learn more about addressing sleep for people with chronic pain. Registration is open through the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
