MENTAL HEALTH WEEK 2025 🧠✨

This year, the theme for Mental Health Week from the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), is M A S K I N G 🎭

Masking is when we hide or suppress personality traits, behaviours, or emotions from others.

Read through to understand more about masking and how we can recognize it in ourselves and in others. By understanding signs of poor mental health, like masking, we can work to create a more safe and exclusive space for everyone!

We all have mental health.

This Thursday is our event for our Middle School to Junior High students, and next Monday, December 23 will be our elementary event during the afternoon.

Interested in some fun, free activities to do at home with your family this summer?

You can rent a 'Family Adventure Pack' from GSACRD Voice, filled with different games, books, toys, and activities for the family to do together! The different activities in each pack will promote family connection, mindfulness, and resilience!

The following kits are available to rent at the Town of Legal Office (located at 5021 50th Street, Legal, AB) and the Morinville Public Library (located at 10119 100 Ave, Morinville, AB):

Connection Adventure Packs
Telestrations, a trivia game & connection game, along with fidget toys & books

Mindfulness Adventure Packs
Buddha boards, yoga & fitness dice, books, puzzles, games, & more

Resilience Adventure Packs
Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza game, Blingo Ball (similar to Spike Ball), games, books, & more

Kits are available for ages 6-11 & 12+ with a variety of games and books suited to different age groups. Bring a 'Family Adventure Pack' with you on your camping trip, road trip, or for some fun at home!
